Dugan megathread

Ud think next year would be Tuquiris last and even if its not Id reconsider signing him. could definetly use alot of his money to go towards a dugan or so

Also isnt Ellis' last year 2012? Or is it 2013? Either way Lote will b retired, if Ellis gone it will free up a heap of $$$… Just need to find someone to plug the hole Ellis leaves... That won't b easy!!!

We'll need two blokes to do that…

RUMOUR OF THE WEEK - Sin Bin - SMH

Don't be surprised to see Josh Dugan and Greg Bird at the Bulldogs if Ricky Stuart becomes the club's next coach. Dugan feels indebted to Stuart for sticking his neck out to choose the Raiders star ahead of Jarryd Hayne as NSW fullback in Origin I, while the Blues coach has a close relationship with Bird from their time together at Cronulla.

I rate Dugan but he strikes as player that will always have injury issues, similar build to Mullins who played for the raiders and he spent a hell of a lot of time on the side lines

I cant see stuart as coach of the blues past 2012\. Following Ricky around would be pointless..
Dugan should come to the tigers & he will taste the national side in 2013

Not meaning to bump the thread but the boys at [www.makingthenut.com](http://www.makingthenut.com) reckon Dugan is definitely leaving the Raiders after his contract expires, either for Tigers or Bulldogs for season 2013.

Woo makingthenut have said its happening so now we can take it as gospel.
I wish….

Actually I dont want Dugan. He seems like a douchbag.

I tend to agree Sabre, at this stage I like the looks of Tedesco and he could be ready by then anyway…

Don't want to be critical but why would the Bulldogs want Dugan when they have Barba
The Dogs seem pretty happy with Barba

They might want to move him (Barba) from fullback. Ben Roberts is on his way out so they might see Barba as an option at 5/8.

Good point Yoss He and Hodgkinson might make a good combination
Bit of a speed hump in defence though

Very true. They'd have to hide him somewhere but given his inability/unwillingness to catch bombs, they might think that is the easier option.

I would take Dugan any day. A mongrel full back, that's what we need. A year or two under Sheens he will become the next NSW fullback.

He is a NSW fullback.

If we were interested I'd be a bit nervous now, given how injury prone he has been.

Strikes me as a Brett Mullins clone, world beater if you can keep him on the paddock but that is the problem trying to keep him on the paddock.Tall and lean and very injury prone, but that could also be just a bad streak he has been going through, similar to benji and Prince. Really it would be hard to imagine we could get him under the cap even if we retire Lote of to pasture so this post could be a waste of time
