The channel 9 commentary was awful. Inglis hit was high, late and illegal but apparently ok in SOO. Cronk apparently shouldn't be binned for a blatant hold off the ball in a try scoring opportunity. The notion that SOO should be governed by a different set of rules is ridiculous.

The guys who run channel 9 must be really out of touch to let these bozos loose on national TV. Johns is just disgusting with all the blokey crap…**they really need to change the direction....it's so yesterday and out of step with general sports coverage elsewhere.**

If you want to know why our game is going nowhere you just have to look at some of the decision makers and influencers. Hint women are 50% of the potential market and they don't like needless violence.

I reckon this is a really good point Larry. The 'yesterday' style is so boring, even with the introduction of new technology. It's the presentation itself that needs a broom and some new thought as to what is actually possible.

But I think it will require a change of stations for it to happen unfortunately.

Great news!! **watching this series in low def**, listening to the ramblings of a moronic pensioner and his stoner friends has reminded how great it is to have all regular games on FOX. I really enjoy the way they treat both the game and the viewers.

I couldn't believe SOO was in low def while a cooking show was airing on the HD channel :crazy

I guess they need to see the slow-mo replay of steam rising off the fresh cooked broccoli!

Couldn't see Channel 9 perform so poorly if Kerry Packer was still alive.
The current Channel 9 management reflect their limitations, eg 60 minutes, sport going backwards, ACA nothing but embellished gossip etc etc

Our biggest threat will be the Titans. They're such a gutsy side, and they won't be easy beats when we play them at Cambo. I think we have Penrith and Saints measure though.
