Heard lockyer and Johns pleading his case last night,both were banging on that GI was only bracing himself,with no arms involved it looked like a deliberate shoulder bump to me rather than some one bracing for a collision,with the shoulder coming into contact with the head,thus the broken jaw.
Now locky is a maroon so he will be biased towards another Qlder,Johns however is forever sucking up to GI in an attempt to make amends for his racist slur about him a number of years ago,this again points to how ordinary ch9 commentary is,if a lesser player did that tackle to GI,Thurston,Cronk,Smith,Slater or any of their other pets which resulted in a broken jaw there would be an out cry of the kicker needs to be protected.
