@THE_POM jeez it’s comforting when you reply on here. Always know your on the money, cheers.

Thanks for your info Pom glad your still around I’m a new member here but used to come as visitor to find out the gods on player movements

@swag_tiger
His desire to play fullback will be addressed in the pre-season in build up for 2020 season. Best player for the job wether it be either Mbye or DWZ will get it & he knows this.
He loves Madge & I feels he believes in him & that’s what give us the advantage to sign him.

Christ, is it the end of the world if we don’t sign him. I appreciate the info, but the prospect of signing DWZ is not worth sweating over. It’s far from a game changing signing.

@THE_POM any news on any of the other pieces to the puzzle - Packer, Mats, Mcqueen, Nofa, Reynolds,etc and also any idea who else we are looking at. Appreciate any info as always

with mbye being dropped to the bench last week maybe dwz comes straight into fullback and mbye finds a new possy.

He’s running out of positions.

Tbh, Panthers can get stuffed and keep him. Nobodies fault but their own they wanted Dud Cleary to keep his son...backfire is on them, nothing saving face with chins like banana’s.

Idk about everyone else, but for me personally, I’d be filthy if in a year, a gun back rower or centre pops up on the market, and we can’t make him a decent offer because we threw too much at a guy like DWZ. Our interest in him reeks of being interested for the sake of it.

Panthers were never going to do us or DWZ any favours.
I can’t see that they would be falling over themselves in any player trades and similarly not sure the players in question would be keen on working with their last coach.
I have no inside knowledge on these matters but to me logically Packer to Dragons and Taylor to Warriors is a better fit.
Anyway I agree that this is not such an earth shattering signing for us. It would be nice but could complicate things for us particularly if Players such as Mbye, Marshall and Reynolds are still with us next year.
BUT yes appreciate hearing from the Pom again.

Saw on the Panthers forum there were a couple reports of a scrap with 2 senior players 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Hopefully their season takes another nose dive.

Some guy that does mole style nrl gossip on 2mmm. Said a swap Mbye for Dillon and Tim Sheen's doing something with coaching at the Tits. He comes on with a fake voice not sure what he success ratio is.
