Its interesting to think that Cleary might have gone off Packer this year given how hard he went for him at the Tigers. Either a falling out or he no longer sees the value in Packer. He would definitely be the pawn in the player swap and if Cleary wanted him the deal would have already been done I would have thought....

I’m still around, but not much I can say at the moment.
But the concern with no DWZ announcement is real. Panthers potentially torpedoing our chance to sign him.

The money/the player.
Believe it or not we could sign DWZ as our 30th player without getting rid of anyone. With what he’s already been paid by Panthers we would still be under the cap (not by much).
Panthers want a win out of this to save face with fans.
Last weekend deal was done he would of played this week but things changed come Monday & now Panthers moving goal posts & Cowboys back in the frame.
I’d say it’s 60/40 in our favour he’ll be here.
