@snowy55 Offloading means paying freight for few years which is not desirable ..... swapping of player you don’t want in the vicinity of same contract $s ..... is the go. So yes we may find that a difficult issue for unmotivated player like Packer.

Serious question here folks- can you take a player to court seeking their contract termination for not performing to requirements?

I'd also be letting Reynolds know, one more serious injury and WT will seek his medical retirement and/or approach NRL for dispensation to do the same things as the Ingliss- Souths scenario.

Farah & Marshall- this season is it.

McQueen- hope he goes to ESL- actually playing him now in the first 17 gives hm exposure and hopeful ESL interest.

ET & Nofo- keep on the books until a possible beneficial trade comes along. They have already been told they can test the market for next season.

Its not a good situation, but not wrist slitting time.

@2005magic I was thinking the same on Reynolds he needs to fill his employment obligations ... if he never gets on the field for differing injuries he surely is not making that requirement.I would keep McQueen he has shown he is at least performing under Madge as I am told you need to fill your roster .

Every time you have a change of coach, the it is not my roster so don't judge me on performance excuse gets rolled out by the incoming coach. This means he has a 5 year plan which doesn't start until he assembles his new squad. The club must start taking responsibility for all the disastrous retention stuff ups - Korobeite, JAC, Pappenhuyzen as well. Also when Marina Go went, many were expecting big things from the business and Government connections of the new Chair. At present, I don't really so that reflected in benefits in terms of player acquisitions as you see at say the Roosters.

Brilliant, just brilliant! We can't win anything. I don't think we have ever won a players signature when other clubs are vying for them as well. We only get players when no one else is in the market for them. Honestly we're just shit!

Having a meltdown over not signing DWZ? ?

We won Matterson’s signature last year when the Sharks also wanted him.

Impressive list

@Tigers17 I don’t think Madge has any issues with hard work, does he know what his doing is another question. The club need to communicate with us as to what the hell is going on and make us believe it’s not as bad as it seems. When signing the young 9 going to be announced or is it another playing not coming to us

@GNR4LIFE Have you become apathetic because you've accepted mediocrity? We have an average squad and he's an upgrade, what's not to understand? Also comparing us to the Roosters is laughable. We can't even reach September.

@TYGA I agree. Their starting roster is 10x better than ours on paper. Tom and Jake, Cherry-Evans, Taupau, Fonua-Blake, Walker, Joel Thompson

Really half those blokes you mentioned have barely plaed a game for them this year.. meanwhile.....

You’d take Marty back in a heartbeat !

I'm sorry but after today and Losing DWZ to the dogs, that just does not give me any confidence at all that we can sign any quality player...
Apparently he agree to terms with us and decided to go to the Dogs who i believe are worse than us. We have the current NZ coach and he still say No thanks .... Sorry but we are a disgrace as a club and I don't see this changing in the near future... Just feel terrible

Wouldn't mind trying to get Drinkwater or bringing Papenhuyzen back. A backline like this would be good.

1. Drinkwater/Papenhuyzen
2. Nofoaluma
3. Blake
4. Marsters
5. Bradley
6. Mbye
7. Brooks

No doubt... doesn't change the fact Turbo Walker DCE Fonua-Blake have barely layed a game for the scum this year but their ploddering nuffies have them in the top 8..

Penrith have basically outpointed us in every exchange bar the Suncorp win

Again probably says more about us off field than anything else

With no disrespect intended, although better, that backline is still total garbage.

Like that backline but would substitute Dylan Smith for Nofoaluma. Anyone watching the Ch9 game have a look at the young centre Naden. We could have picked him up in the bargain basement group a year or so ago.

@willow In the long term we've probably dodged a bullet not having him here as a coach. It's obvious now that he made some really poor recruitment decisions. Guessing we would've had more of the same, and probably performances similar to Penrith's this season for years to come.

@avocadoontoast hes a premiership winning coach who has inherited a dogs breakfast. Mate he is the only positive bar matto we have at the moment

@hodgo disagree. The dogs breakfast he inherited was playing better under the moron who was coaching us last year. I’m not writing off Maguire yet but man, he’s not setting the world on fire just yet. I ain’t sold on him at all.
