he has had a good season for wests-tigers.
maybe in the off-season the some of the forwards can learn how tackle like Gareth does.

Ellis is a champion player, a true professional.

It's just a shame he won't be playing on a contending NRL team while he's over here.

Great plaer and, unlike the wrist slitters club, one person of many to make me believe we will have a great season next year.

Can't fault him. Pack him down with Hindmarsh and Laffranchi - all 2nd rowers but unfortunately one will have to go to prop or lock.

Ellis better bloody get Wests Tigers the Player of the Year otherwise everyone needs their head's read. The bloke has been a breath of fresh air. A highlight in a disappointing '09\. Gave a reason to turn up week in week out. He is one reason whilst i'll be heading out again next Friday night. Go Lad!!

A professional on and off the field. Ellis has been one of the Tigers best this season and has certainly stiffened up the Tigers forward pack in defence. He hit like a sledgehammer tonight, just a pity the Tigers couldn't get the result. He'll prove a great leader for the up-and-coming forwards at the club like Dwyer, Schirnack and Mataka and hopefully these players and more learn as much as they can from Ellis.

I actually felt sorry for Gaz tonight, he worked his arse off in a team full of second rate performers.
His effort was outstanding and the fact that after a full season, Sheens still dosen't know how to use him in attack.

The entire 80 minutes next week should be focused on getting him across the try line. No one more deserving.
