Embarrassing Moments

On a lighter note…well maybe not for some haha, what are some embarrassing moments you guys have had, maybe your first date....forgetting your wallet..boys. Share your stories!

I'll start off, as a little kid i didn't support the Tigers but Benji, Robbie, Sheens and a few others came and addressed our assembly, whole school was there, they decided to have a quiz and winners would get a WT showbag. Lucky me i got selected, question was "Who is the coach of the Wests Tigers" I pointed at Robbie and responded with "You"..the whole school laughed and unfortunately i missed out on a showbag. Thats how you embarrass yourself in front of your favourite captain in the NRL.
 
Not me but the guy who threw his Tigers membership onto the ground after today's loss, that's pretty embarrassing.

By on the ground I mean he through it from where he was sitting into in goal area on the field haha.

That would of been a laugh to see! Sure there would of been some choice language to go with it also!
 
Some years back in the local basketball comp I couldn't find my uniform shorts before a game. I grabbed an old pair of stubbies that were the right colour but had a dodgy elastic.
I made a half court intercept and took off for a layup when the elastic gave out. I tried to complete my run and do a one handed layup all the while holding my shorts about halfway down to my knees. The crowd was howling. I missed the layup but was assured by my team mates that it was great entertainment value.

Longer haha, probably 10 years ago….wow makes me feel old and im only 16 haha

ha ha… okay....

probably the most embarrassing moment of my life (well, the one that stands out most!) happened when i was about 14 or 15:

my grandmother was Norwegian and she had an old friend from there come over for a visit. my family took her and her friend to a (now long gone) water park type place like Sea World called Atlantis.

as everyone took their seats for the seal show, they had music playing over the PA system and my grandmother, who had no concept of embarrassment by the way, was at the front of the stand singing and dancing along to the music being played.

my dad and i distanced ourselves from the rest of the family and sat up the back of the stand; he was on a seat about 3 or 4 rows from the very back, and i was sitting on the limestone wall right at the very back, as far away from her as i could possibly be.

as the audience filled out, you could see a large portion of them talking to each other and having a bit of a laugh at the old chook at the front singing and dancing along with the music.

she had her camera with her, and during her very lively performance of "In the Navy" by the Village People, she started to wave to me yelling out "Jeeeeeeeeeffrey! Jeeeeeeeffrey!" in her thick Norwegian accent so she could take a photo of me!

EVERY SINGLE person in the audience - INCLUDING MY BLOODY DAD WHO COULD BARELY CONTAIN HIMSELF! - turned around and looked straight at me as my grandmother took a photo of me!!

ah man, i was young and SO embarrassed!!! i mean, there were cute girls around and everything!!!

so this was about 30 years ago now, and these days i tend to think of embarrassment as something only for people who care too much about what other people think and would probably have just run with it and taken it on the chin.

i gave a eulogy at her funeral, and not sure if i told this story or not, but one thing i did say was that whatever you thought of her, she certainly was a memorable character.

Played a curtain raiser to a SOO game in 1986

Lang Park by this stage probably had about 10 000 people

We have come back on after half time and I was just focusing on what I had to do , so I have run on to receive the kick off

And then as I turned around remembered we had received the kick off to start the game

As I have run back slowly acting like I was checking a hammy twinge and stretching

Don't think I fooled anyone , luckily for me I redeemed my stupidity later
 
I just had one then.
Tried to hold onto a fart for too long in the university library.

I called my fiancée,my ex girlfriends name accidentally at the inlaws one night….

I'm with Macdougall...I gotta get off the Amber fluid sometimes.....

Just be glad you didn't call her your exes name while you were do something else.
 
Talking to any girl in high school would have covered every embarrassing moment for me. Both clueless and had zero confidence. As you get older you realize how different it could have been had you just not felt as insecure. The joys of being a teenager i guess. There are times you wish you could go back and relive a phase of your life as the person you've become opposed to the person you were.
 
About ten years ago I hooked up with a stunner who was a hockey player. Went to watch one of her games, afterwards she was standing with all her team mates ( all stunners as well) and called me onto the field to introduce me. I went to jump the picket fence, got my shorts hooked up, ended up flat on my face with all my bits hanging out for everyone to see lol

O.K i saw this Thread earlier in the week and i was Embarrassed to tell you guys but i will .

It actually happened last Saturday Night . With a few drinks under my belt during the afternoon come Dinner time we decided to go to the Cudgen headlands Surf life saving Club for Dinner at Kingscliff.
I tell the Mrs what i want from the menu before proceeding to the Bathroom for a piss .

So i walk in the toilet and think to myself there's no Urinal in here but there was 2 Cubicles , one was taken , so i went to the vacant one . Did what i had to do and as i'm washing my hands i hear the door unlock and see a Lady in her mid 20's from the Mirror just freeze as she was getting out 😱pen_mouth: . I absolutely froze and thought to myself WTF!!! So i turn around thinking this Woman has stuffed up and said to her " one of us has stuffed up here , let's go and look at the door " . So we go and check the sign on the door and yeah FT has gone in the the Ladies Toilet :blush: , i didn't know were to hide .
I was so apologetic towards her but she wasn't impressed.
So i get to my table and tell the Mrs what happened and she rolls her eyes and says "oh my God " before having a laugh and the kids as well and to top it off our Table was just outside the Toilets and when she got out looked at my table unimpressed.

Later on i took a photo of the sign outside the Toilet door as i was talking to hobbo and texted him the photo and told him my stuff up :brick: .

This is the photo Ladies and Gents now tell me that picture looks like a Mens Toilet ? Yeah sure it says GIRLS but that stands out more by the flash , i saw blue in the picture and went in + with a few Drinks under your belt :laughing: .
