Esan Marsters Debut

Decent. I'm not getting carried away but he was better than our other second row options.

he looks like a first grader!….unlike some of the other imposters.....should be in the 17 for the rest of the season

He is a keeper for sure. He never will put in a bad show because of his heart. Given he had good speed and skill he is going to be a top line NRL player. Heart plus skill. He had everything he needs to make a great career. Leave him in now and let him develop.

Was very impressed and when you remember he has been playing centre for some reason all season and was back in the backrow for his NRL debut and given the Lawrence injury he played longer minutes then was planned too.

Should be the fulltime bench backrower for the rest of the year and see how he develops because Edwqrds, Lawrence and Lovett aren't going to make an impact whereas he offloaded, broke tackles and set up a try with a lovely pass

Marsters is the perfect project player. He was a walk on that trained the house down and got a spot in the 20s side. Kept shining every game when people has no idea who he was. Kept shining when people wondered if he was a flash in the pan. Kept grinding when despite his rise he wasn't handed his opportunity while less deserving players took spots ahead of him. Kept grinding when he was out of position in a reggies team getting belted. Smoked it up hard when he got to play an international on a big stage triple header. Rose to the occasion when he finally got his shot. This kid is desperate to succeed. He will go far.

Was good today. Not sure that he should start as fatigue would get him and reduce his impact, but should definately be in the 17 and playing decent minutes.

Time to extend his contract before the inevitable Clubs come sniffing.

Thanks. We need to extend like we're doing with Little and also sign his brother.

I think some of the only positives we can take out of this season and i think Ivan already knows it, is blooding guys like Marsters and a few other's giving them vital experience. But he can do it slowly so he doesnt shatter their confidence. Esan went well today looked a handful.
