All I know is, a prime minister who closes Aussie Pubs must have a death wish

If the pubs and clubs don't shut down to stave off the spread of this terrible virus and people don't heed the advice given by experts.....it will no longer be a death wish ...it will be a shocking reality..

Yea but there are pubs and there are pubs. Lake Cathie Tavern would struggle to have 10 people in it at any given time yet they are punished the same as pubs in Newtown that cater to hundreds. Seems like overkill to shutdown small country pubs that more than likely won't survive.

If they only have a very minimum as you say DP,the stimulas package is available to the owners so their business does survive..its not overkill mate its trying to prevent deaths...I know what Im saying DP,I just lost my job because I work in a small country pub and Im only a casual,I will be able to access some funds to get buy...I would rather ride this out and go back to work to see familiar faces all well...not read about them in the death notices...

If you're going to go the whole hog then do it. Public transport should be canned, numbers in supermarkets should be limited to a certain number at a time, cut the BS about schools needing to be open for the sake of childrens education. At the moment it is still a half @#$% approach.

Struggling to get past it....
Thought this year would be different

But there are bigger concerns than the mindset of footballers so in the scheme of things - pretty minor

Serious question Willow
I’m not sure what area of law enforcement you are involved in but do you know to what level the government are engaging police/army/security etc to ensure people are doing what is expected of them currently?

I'm Federal. There's a few moving parts involved at the moment regarding this but nothing I can share sorry.

I'm a Unit Operator in a power station. If the country goes full lock down I may actually get locked IN at work. For possibly a fortnight at a time. I 100% feel for people who are losing their jobs but this is rather inconvenient too. I have two asthmatic kids at home that I wont see or be able to help for two weeks. And a wife who will be driven bat shit crazy by the time I get home!
All so you buggers can drink cold beer while watching the Tigers stand around and watch the other team run past them!

You are probably right DP,but we can only do as the experts tell us,PM is being fed info by the CMO and he is following his recommendations...just remember mate this is a totally new breed of evil that we don't know how to deal with...I do and always will respect your opinion as I do others...we have to really stick together on this one ...the end possibilities are something I would not want to see happen and that is thousands of deaths..

Well let’s hope it doesn’t get to that. Everyone just needs to do their bit so that more draconian action is not needed.

Completely understand your position willow being in Federal, but just to help answer the question,Victoria atm is releasing 500 police to make sure everybody maintains the social distancing..thats all I have read about so far, things may change, this virus should be taken very, very seriously as we don't know how badly it will affect us in the coming weeks..

Who is enforcing the closures? As far as I can see most things are still open lol

Most places on Norton Street are still open tomorrow...weird

When you went in GEO with your hazmat suit on,did it have zipper or button up fly...

I’d say it had a button up fly , that way he’d only have to undo one button ?
