Wests Tigers value your input. Which song would you suggest for a
'Post Warm Up Song' that can be played as the boys finish their warm up and are returning to the tunnel?
We want a song that is quite universal and that most people will know the words to as well as being emotive and relevant to the Club.

If anyone has any others leave them here and I will make sure it gets passed on...Even Happy's...

The Club is listening.....

Acdc- are you ready
Or
Queen- we will rock you

Judging by the team announcement video it looks like we are back to the original Eye Of the Tiger.
:righton:

How good is it to hear the original version. The WT version was embarrassing to listen to especially when you bought a few mates to WT game that support another team.

Thin Lizzy - The Boys Are Back In Town is a brilliant song, recognizable riff and gets the adrenaline going. It would work well IMO.

ACDC - For Those About To Rock would be another that nearly every fan would be familiar with. Would be an awesome song to hear as the boys are walking down the tunnel to take the field, the intro is blood-pumping. We would be the envy of many other clubs with this as our home game intro song without a doubt.

If the club is too stringent about whether or not a song is relevant to ourselves then they are backing themselves into a corner as there are not too many decent songs that reference tigers in general.

Metallica .."seek and Destroy "
Awesome intro !

Hobbo, the Bulldogs use Seek And Destroy as their run-on song I'm pretty sure. Master Of Puppets would go down a treat as our entrance song, killer riff!

I Thought their run on song was .. Who let the dogs out
Not that I've been to a dogs home game !

I'm happy if they stick with Eye of the Tiger if they use the Survivor version. The WT one is poxy and cringeworthy.

If they were to change it, I'd go for Eye for an Eye by Soulfly. Awesome intro, growling drop G-tuned guitars, Max Cavalera. I want break things when I hear that song.

If they don't go that, then I'd say Master of Puppets. Iconic intro and would pump everyone up.

Never Tear Us Apart INXS

The Pretender Foo Fighters

Hells Bells AC DC

And I don't mind a couple of WWE entrance songs 3:16 Austin Glass breaking time to switch on boys ,HHH ,Undertaker

Do they have a PG version of Eye for an Eye CB  ??

I found a song for Robbie as well for when he speaks to JT in the dressing room

Could even throw in some Seven Nation Army…

But yes Manly still use Eagle rock, as its a classic. Same we we should be using the original EOTT.

Or there was that song Balmain used ages ago 'with stripes across my heart'. That was a classic which will never go out of fashion!

Also the Muppets theme song might be an appropriate choice for us.

My 8yo son was asking me the other day what my favourite song was. After listing off a few (hard to narrow it down to just one), I returned the question.

His immediate answer: Eye of the Tiger

Yeah, last year just got too much for me (both footy and life in general). Hoping for a much brighter 2016, with the curve going up for a change!
