OFFICIAL Fainu Brothers.

šŸ˜‚ I was liking your post until the last sentence Kaito.
It would be difficult being locked up knowing the fallout from your actions has impacted your younger brothers. Someone needed to check in on
Manase.
Did Pascoe, or anyone at WT think to?
Sheens said in a recent interview that the club is adopting an holistic approach, but are we?
Are we showing improvement?
We signed Suli at 18 on a reported $1.3 over 4 years, supposedly a record sum for a teenager at the time.
Suli grew to 130kg from his playing weight of 110kg, partly due to training tardiness, in his first offseason and was subsequently released. Went to Bulldogs, another club fighting with themselves att.
Then off to Dragons, who also have an issue with teamwork in the back of house.
Wish we had Suli now, he bent our line with every run, attracting plenty of attention.
Sure Canterbury leagues is a mess too but we do lack a Gould figure.

Maybe fulton acts like this in a way

Hehe credit to him for thinking of going to 'Nase
I respect it, but his intentions are so transparent..
He speaks with a forked tongue, I don't believe
anything that man says mate! I'm pretty sure
Fulton had maintained a good relationship with
the boys & the family. Big reason why they've
signed. Alas, no articles on how the Dogs missed
out on them, only criticism of us for signing
them. Predictable. Agree with you on Suli 20/40
Always a risk signing youngsters but there is
belief they will come good, as Moses has.
I hope it will be with us & won't take as long lol
I think initially I may have misread Tartak’s motives regarding Fulton being an important cog in the wheel deal? If Fulton is the guy to keep these kids on the right path, then maybe Sione will improve by his presence too?

Idk, atm don't think he has the body type for nrl see what the off season brings.

Gould deeds

The Fainu family has had a lot to deal with since Manase was jailed for stabbing a man at a church function. In August, a jury found Fainu guilty of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and he was sentenced to eight years in jail with a non-parole period of four years and three months.

However, his younger brothers, Samuela and Latu, showed considerable class in their contract negotiations with Wests Tigers and the Bulldogs.

Canterbury general manager Phil Gould met Samuela and Latu, but went a step further and visited Manase in a western Sydney jail. It made a big impression on the brothers. So much so that when they made their minds up to join the Tigers they told Gould in person at Belmore. They also wrote him a note and gave him a small gift.

It’s not how most players treat a club who they have turned down.

Fainu bros showing their class. But the boys
saw through Gus' fakeness. Suck shit old snake
We got one over the Koala bear.

I've got a Harbour bridge I'd like to sell you if you can't see through Gould deciding to visit the brother at the same time as he's trying to sign the other two.
He couldn't be more transparently slimy.

I think you are over-thinking the Fainu family part.

As others have said, if you can't see anything phoney in Phil Gould is visiting Manase Fainu in jail exactly the same week as his club is discussing signing the brothers, then I've got some great business opportunities I'd like you to invest in!

But more than that, Tartak was quoted in the media that part of the reason they signed with Tigers was because of the commitments Tigers made not just to them but to their family.

And with Sione Fainu already on the books since 2022, the Fainu family would already have a clear understanding of whether or not the club could be relied up to look after their family. I mean there's lip service, which all clubs peddle, but Sione Fainu could tell you first hand how he feels he has been treated by the club, and judging by the signatures of the brothers, it must have been positive.

re Moses Suli, I'm not going to make any assumptions about the Tigers based on the trajectory of Suli. As you noted he left the Bulldogs very soon after he left Tigers, for the same behavioural reasons. Manly then persisted with him for 4 years and I think got a pretty average output, so average it appears you totally forgot he was even there, because he only joined the Dragons in 2022.

Must admit, I cringed when I first learned of Gould’s visit to the goal.
Yeh, I did totally forget about his time at ManlyšŸ˜‚
Need to update my unsupported iPad, it’s a pain in r’s sometimes.

More class than you obviously.

Still big money for U19s.
The one who got sledged previously had a run in with Wakeham didn’t he, Wakeham went to school with them and stirred the brother up.
Hopefully Wakeham will be gone when they arrive in November otherwise it could a bit heated at training. Just like Bateman /Hastings but Sheens fixed that quick smart by offloading JH.
They’re just gonna have to learn to cop it. I’m also assuming big brother will make to us after he gets out of the slam. That’s probably part of the overall deal.
Could do worse , Manase is a gun player, really looked the goods when he played for Manly.. His story is really such a shame for all involved

When i see Samuela Fainu .. he reminds of younger version Stefano Utoikamanu .. i know Stefano is young as well, still only 23 .. Sam and Stef - mirror image of each other.

Give young Sam another full off season in the gym with the top grade and he'll be a beast .. šŸ‘ šŸ‘
Samuela looks to have a bit more fire in the belly than Stefano which is fine as long as someone can teach him to keep it under control.

Stef needs to get angry but is probably just angry at the way this club is run and probably also about that muppet Fittler.
