Awesome. I think though it's a good idea to see if he comes back and then how he plays before we get excited about his attitude and the fact he has had success with Manly.

Don't put me in that category. Maybe it's just me but I'd like to see us win some games. I get that this is an unusual attitude for a couple of you guys.

Some supporters (yourself included) seem to want to tell us how smart our coach is despite coming last on the ladder last season (if we consider for and against of course we were 2nd last).

Maybe you should work through objectively how you will judge the coach of the Wests Tigers and put that down in another thread. At the moment you seem to have really really low standards with what it takes to call someone a genius.

I mean was Potter a mastermind. Sheens a rainman level genius. Wayne Pearce the best coach of all time or was it one T Lamb ? They all did a lot better than good old JT.

One win in the opening round of the season and you're a genius. Sounds great to me. I reckon if you gave me the role I'd jag the occasional win. Maybe I'm a genius.

My main concern with Farah being out is, Taylor might decide to go back to "Taylorball" for a week or two. Because if your going to do five hit ups and bomb you could play anyone at no9, so you just pick your best defensive hitter and use Cherrington off the bench. I doubt he will especially how slick they looked on Saturday night, but he may take a conservative approach. Fingers crossed he has a plan B

We just need to get through round 1\. Can Cherrington play 60 mins? Starting 30 mins then bring him back at the 50th min. This may sound Sheenius but could Rankin fill in at hooker? He has the ball handling skills and is bigger than any of our other halves options. Yes his defence won't be 1st grade standard at hooker but Warriors are not a team you try to spend all your energy defending against. Play fast expansive football and try to out score them. Teddy and Moses will have a field day (so will RTS and Johnson)

Round 2 Halutau can fill in for 2-3 more rounds then we will have Farah back. Then as Farah is getting ready to play Origin we can bring Ballin in.

Never thought I would say this but thank god we have so many hookers.

No I don't think he is an idiot. I think it was obvious last year that he has to improve a lot to be an average first grade coach.

I think the jury is pretty clear cut on JT being a genius - he definitely isn't. If we win the comp this year based off some great game plans then we may reassess how good he is. Winning the open round of the season will not make him a genius.

Taylor and inventive coaching so far don't gel at all.

Let's all hope that JT takes a big step up this year and becomes a decent coach. Maybe set your sights there before calling for him being a genius.

Just cause you come out and say you guarantee the jersey doesn't mean that is what he wanted Originally, circumstances have made him say he will be the 9 and best we don't go into that whole debate as there is 300 pages worth of it.

To even suggest JT as a Genius for beating the Warriors is a gee up, then if they lose the same old dribble will come out…...How is it JT's fault? His not the one missing tackles, his not the one kicking out on a full etc.

Traditionally we are not bad starters to the year , but i think the Warriors will do us comfortable..... let's hope i eat humble pie.
