Farah, Lawrence & Galloway to tour

Its only my opinion but i think Farah is lucky Sheens is the coach. He makes too many dumb mistakes to be considered 2nd to Smith. I reckon Matt Ballin from Manly should have got a go.
The other 2 picked themselves.

Wrong
Galloway picked himself - has had a stellar season
Farah is a class ahead of every other hooker in the comp(not including smith)
Lawrence - Lucky to be picked IMO hasnt played out of his skin and coming back from an injury rattled year, tate nielson should have probably been in the side.

Merritt was very unlucky not to be there - outplayed boyd this year especially at the back and of the season and both are FLB/Wing

Team should be

1.Slater
2.B stewart
3.Lawrence
4.Inglis
5.Uate
6.Lockyer
7.Thurston
8.Scott
9.Smith
10\. Shillington
11.Thaiday
12.Stewart
13.Gallen
14.cronk
15.watmough
16.Galloway
17.Lewis

That is the comps best 17 players
i know you will think y stewart at wing but he is a better player then boyd and yow yeh and can play wing so y wouldnt you…hayne always plays wing
also i bet you may be thinking only 1 prop on the bench...gallen lewis thaiday are both big enough to shift into the front row...this will offer greater attack and these blokes are fantastic defenders aswell

strange squad, I feel they should have sacraficed a few backrowers and perhaps a halfbacks for some 3 quarters (seems like an old term) and some genuine props.

agreed… While I knew they were short of Props and Centres, I think this final squad is the sad reality of the politics, aka game of fish which goes on around the selection table.

If this the best squad we have, the Poms are right in this tournament!!!

I'm bewildered with the selection of only 2 specialist Centres (both Left) and one is 50/50 at best…

Surely one of Neilsen, Farrell, Champion, Tate, Thompson, Ayshford or Jennings will be a late call-up???

Tate.

Champion…...well no one could deny you have a sense of humour Watto.

Given that 24, my side:

1\. Slater
2\. Boyd (left)
3\. Tony Williams (right)
4\. Lawrence (left)
5\. Uate (right)

6\. Locky
7\. Thurston

8\. Scott
9\. Smith
10\. Galloway/ Shillington

11\. Thaiday
12\. G. Stewart
13\. Gallen

14\. Lewis (utility)
15\. Watmough
16\. Galloway/ Shillington
17\. Taylor

Tony Williams ahead of Inglis??? Im hoping this is jsut an oversight. WIlliams as an outside back is poor.

In truth he is only average as a second rower.

Inglis is in doubt and also he is a left centre, IMO he wouldnt suit at right and neither would Lawrence.
Also, with G. Stewart out and Scott in, would like to replace T. Williams with B. Scott, Watmough to 12 and Williams on the bench

Full time and a smiling Lawrence shakes benjis hand, wants to chat but soon realises marshalls in no mood..hehe

No room Hybrid… Our forwards had a roll on all game. No 6 or 7 will have any impact while thier pigs are going backwards. (Maybe if Packer was more focused on defending rather than taking cheap shots with his mate Hargraves and Smith they might be more of a chance?)

Sauce went well, and showd why he was selected. Scott is a machine and Shillo found some good form considering the average year he had. Whats everyones thoughts on Gallen at Prop? He went ok, but I'm not sure...

I was very impressed with Tonga. He seems to go better at Right Centre. He played there a few years ago for Qld and had a good impact also.

Robbie Farah must be sponsored by some cheap Sunnies brand. Surely no one would buy such ugly glasses?!

Yes I noticed that as well, Chris was all smiles and Benji wanted to keep walking.

I thought Gallan was solid at prop, won't take a backward step and was copping a fair bit of niggle. You are right Watto those sunglasses Robbie had on were ordinary, looked like Inglis had similar ones on as well they may have gone to the same Go Lo shop.

Saw Robbie chatting with kids, chillin on the grass with Corey Parker.
The sunnies were nice, I was rocking a similar pair (mine were slightly better)
