Farah named for All Stars Match...

If the guy was captain it may be a different story so he does not have to lead anything. He has already led by being one of the fittest guys in training though one of the oldest.

Psychologically it could be just what he needs a distraction from the sagas here and would appreciate he club letting him go and so respond be being positive in all ways when returning.

Only some of you guys will see evil everywhere. That has been demonstrated in other non-Farah threads - you make up all sorts of scenarios. My neighbour does exactly the same - imagining things to support a bulldust story or grudge. He is the joke of the neighbourhood by the way and some of you guys are pipping him at the post.

And people are surprised by this why? If any good comes out of this, it might be that his worshipers finally sit up and take notice. There's only so much you can defend before even his most staunch supporter stop making excuses. This is the kind of behavior that the club tried to remove at the end of last yr and they got strung up in a back alley over it. This doesn't surprise me, why should it? We're talking about a man who sat back and let the coach grovel to him in front of the playing group. Why didn't he just say privately ''look JT, i know we've had our differences, i just want reassurances that i won't be treated that way again''. No, instead the megalomaniac stands back with his arms folded and allows Taylor to lose his self respect. And its not even the fact it was Taylor personally he did it to, its the fact of who Taylor is and his position. Farah's ego is such that he doesn't care whose reputation gets damaged at his expense.

The guy is killing the club, dare i say, he's a cancer. I know some don't like that word, but how else are you meant to describe him. A cancer destroys the human body, he's destroying the club. The club are like a battered wife constantly letting their abusive husband back into the house.

If the Farah's saga was only short lived and a flare up under pressure Farah could do what you prescribe. But it was calculated, drawn over months with insults thrown in for good measure. Whilst the guy was leading the tackle count and playing when injured. He only has to perform on the field - that is what he gets paid for.

Next I will be accused of posting just to try for reputation points.

BBF,if he only played and performed on the field,it would be great, however his off field games far outweigh his NRL performances,He has been allowed far more than other club captains and its got to his head..

The only time Farah has played injured for anyone for the last few years is for NSW

Tiger45
I thought Hayne and Marshall (when at WT) were mostly non-performing - very selective when they get involved to do their magic. At least Farah was in the thick of it because had to be or wanted to be.

True Tiger, I take your point but as I pointed out that he is not captain any more. He did not have to go through that saga - and in compo the club is letting him off training for a few days (already trained brilliantly). Now on with the show in February. HE MUST PERFORM THEN AND WILL or Ballin comes in.

I think it came out in yesterdays article that the saga was about salary cap, so Robbie was collateral damage in that.

He may not be captain but he's in the leadership group, he's a senior player and he's a player that clearly has influence over younger players. If he wanted to send a positive message that he was really committing to the club for 2016 and putting the dramas of 2015 behind him I don't think jaunting off to the Super Bowl and telling an obvious lie that he wasn't aware of the scheduling was the way to go about it.

Mate I've tried to defend Farah with previous threads….enough is enough.

It gets to a point where you can't defend the undefendable....this just highlights just how self centred he is and he hasn't learnt anything from the dramas we have had the last 6 Months.

Thanks for the memories but his time has come.

The scary thing is that Farah just went ahead and did it

Didn't bother asking anyone

Can you imagine how Ayoub would of been over this if they said no to King Robbie , no doubt they would of sued the club for the 15 k

Well, it hasn't really. Supporters ensured that at end of last yr by threatening to boycott the club if he was moved on. We're stuck with him and his ego for this season at least.

Kudos to you for seeing the light though. Hopefully a few more take your lead.

Nelson, about the All Star match I am not that concerned, as someone stated it could prevent an injury. Could be a lie but not really important and if he gets dropped for SOO because of perceived lie then good for WT.

All your points could carry some weight but the professional management let him have a break and as earlier stated maybe they thought compo for the saga that prevented him from having a psychological break from the game during the playing break. I spoke to WT professional management the other day and they certainly seem to know on how to go about things about the actual game. As far as a message to the younger players - the message could be, play your heart out and you will get a break on a blue moon in the off season.

From the press release: Farah didn’t realise the conflict of schedule when he bid for the tickets, **and received clearance from his club Wests Tigers long ago to attend the match**, which will feature half-time entertainment from Coldplay, Beyonce and Bruno Mars.

Farah only went ahead and did it after very early on getting permission from the club - don't make up scenarios

We could say the same about every situation in life if that is how we are and forever trying to be negative. I have noticed that trend amongst my age guys who have not achieved much in life or have had bad divorces - tall poppy syndrome part of it is called or they are always wanting to prove something.

If your scenario was correct I would have hoped they refused him as he is under contract and contracts work both ways but without any evidence or inside word it is only our evil mind working overtime
