Man these fat people REALLY don't like Robbie. They're probably jealous of his missus or something.

QLD don't go on about 'Origin' players, and that's why they are 6-0.

On sports radio tonight Brandy Alexander said that Farah should be picked at Hooker, Brandy said that Buderus should't be picked he has done little in club football and even if you were considering him he was an injury risk, he went on to say that Ennis hasn't been playing well and hasn't fully recovered from his injury.

Finally someone speaking out who is not part of the manly/NSWSOO club

Dean Riche has come on the show and said that Ennis is ahead of Farah, he also said that Farah is talking around the traps that the media have something against him.

Gibsy said if he was picking the hooker it would be Farah

Peter peters is always quick to bag 2 tigers players at any chance… Marshall and Farah. However he would know the true thoughts from NSW selectors as he is best mates with Bozo.

It's really sick the way they have picked on Robbie, the poor bloke busts his gut on the field each week is as passionate as they come and has had to deal with family issues off the field, this media witch hunt is a disgrace.

Pffft Zorba should go crawl back under his rock.

I don't know how someone can get the Dally M Hooker of the year twice, Dally M Player of the year runner-up twice and not be of origin standard…....he is beating supposed SOO players to get these awards right?

The stats speak for themselves, he runs more and makes more meters than Ennis, more hit-ups (over double in fact), has made more offloads, tackled less, but he's played 2 less games this year..........I can't do the math, if he's beating a player considered to be "origin material" in the club games, how the hell do they work out what is origin material?

As far as Buderus is concerned, they are having a laugh if he plays, a knee jerk reaction to losing 6 on the trot and not thinking of the future at all. Plus not only is the guy injured, but he's hardly setting the world on fire. If Buderus is a stand up guy, he should say no to playing.

EDIT Looks like the decision has been made for Buderus, he's out with that injury.

Maybe the tide is turning, in the above article Daley is quoted with

"Blocker (Roach) is entitled to his opinion about Robbie, but I wouldn't have a problem with him being included - all three of them would do a job for NSW."

All three being Ennis, Hinchcliffe and Farah

This whole SOO hooker stuff is a big fat joke.
The %%it that has been going around has totally wiped Robbie's chances IMHO.
AND IT'S NOT FAIR!!!!
Hey Ricky! Man up and pick NSW's best hooker

Like i have said earlier, they have backed themselves into a corner. It's a corner they will have to scratch ,duck, crawl and weave their way out of. If they don't think Robbie is up to Origin, good for them, there is no issue with that. The issue for me is it being made public by members of the coaching staff. It's extremely unprofessional, particularly 3 weeks out when you have no idea what players will be available.

As for Blocker being banned from anything to do with Wests Tigers, i completely disagree. He has certainly made a dick of himself, but i will not, and cannot forget the contributions he made and the blood sweat and tears he shed for Balmain, NSW and Australia. Tommy R has also come out at different times with some vicious remarks, and again, i can't go past his contributions for club, state and country. They are both gladiators/ warriors of the past that put everything on the line for their teams and they are both entitled to their opinions. Blocker just made the error of making his public. Go to town on him as much as you like, but he holds a place in history as part of this joint venture that i doubt ANY person on here even comes close too.

Buderus NRL injury a new blow for Stuart

NSW coach Ricky Stuart's worst fears were confirmed on Wednesday with Newcastle hooker Danny Buderus ruled out of the State of Origin opener with Achilles tendinitis.

Former Blues skipper Buderus was a certainty to return to the side for the first time since 2008 after rejoining the Knights following a three-year stint with Super League side Leeds.

However, the 34-year-old will be sidelined for up to a month meaning he'll miss the chance to face Queensland on May 23 in Melbourne.

"The positive is the scans showed no tear and it's a matter of now managing the tendinitis," Newcastle's performance director Jeremy Hickmans said in a statement.

"With a break from training and playing, Danny is hopeful to return after the bye."

The news is the latest blow for Stuart, who's already lost the services of Kurt Gidley, who he'd earmarked for the utility role off the bench, with a dislocated shoulder.

Canterbury skipper Michael Ennis has been the incumbent hooker since the third game of the 2009 series, but is believed to have slipped behind the man he replaced that year - Robbie Farah.

Farah has not featured since a poor showing in the second match of 2009 in Sydney, when his gamble to play with a rib injury backfired.

However, the 28-year-old has been in fine form this season and was outstanding in the City-Country clash in Mudgee last month, dovetailing superbly with NSW halfback Mitchell Pearce.

Despite this, doubts have continued to rage about Farah's supposed suitability for Origin, with NSW great Steve Roach questioning his potential inclusion.

Former NSW skipper and selector Laurie Daley witnessed Pearce and Carney at close quarters when coaching Country, and was impressed with how they performed alongside one another.

"They were outstanding, particularly in the first half," Daley told AAP.

"The same also goes for Mick Ennis and Ryan Hinchcliffe. All three offer different skills and have different strengths and Ricky will know in his mind what he wants to do."

However, he disagreed with Roach's comments that Farah was not an Origin-type player.

"Blocker (Roach) is entitled to his opinion about Robbie, but I wouldn't have a problem with him being included - all three of them would do a job for NSW."

Melbourne utility Hinchcliffe is also in contention for a spot in the side and was part of Stuart's emerging Blues squad earlier this year.

Stuart's predecessor Craig Bellamy has endorsed the 27-year-old's inclusion either in Gidley's or Buderus' spot, and said he'd spoken to Stuart about the former Canberra man.

"To my way of thinking, he'd be an ideal guy for that bench spot," the Melbourne coach said.

"Obviously, he can't play fullback or five-eighth or halfback like Kurt can, but he can certainly play hooker and in the back row and, at a pinch, he could slip into the centres.

"They had an emerging Blues camp just after Christmas and I know Rick was really impressed with how he held himself through that camp so Rick would obviously be watching him in his games.

"I think he's be a real good fit for them."

haha yeah, just like you thought Kurt Gidley was the right choice to captain the side from the bench…....well done Bellyache lol

If some sort of miracle happens and Robbie gets selected the actual watching of the game will be one of the most torturous of my life. I will be so nervous for him not to screw it up.

Hopefully he can come out like he did in his debut game and in the first few minutes put Hayne away for a try that was disgracefully denied and no doubt decided the result of the series.
Robbie would be a multi SOO series winning captain captain by now if it wasn't for that incompetent official.

Blocker will always be remembered as a great player but his comments have tarnished his reputation (if he had one to begin with) and he has proven to be a very little man with a low IQ.

Calling out the captain and leader of our club as a non Origin player was a disgrace. What about the blood sweat and tears Farah has shed for the Tigers? Doesn't he deserve more respect from someone who supposedly supports the club?

Not to mention the fact that Roach is on the NSW coaching staff and publicly bagging a player said to be in contention is completely unprofessional. He is entitled to an opinion but he shouldn't be entitled to air it in public like that.

You are entitled to your opinion, but the club should have nothing to do with Roach. He is a disgrace.

Side note - The boys on NRL on fox selected Robbie as hooker when selecting the spine for NSW.

Roach has clearly backed himself into a lose lose situation - definitely lacking good judgement.

- He burns bridges with the current crop of tigers players and potentially some tigers officials.
- He potentailly forces the selectors to ignore Robbie even if he is the last man standing
- If Robbie does get selected - he has just given the rags 6 weeks worth of headlines
- or he will be asked to move a side or apologise

How he thought anything good would have come out of his comments is beyond me - a case of too many high shots I think.

Maybe farah should come out and state that Blocker wasnt suited to grand fianls. Or is Roach still crying over that FACT.

If anything - Robbie is playing this perfectly. Not getting sucked into it and generally keeping a low profile. I just hope he comes out and plays a good game on sat night. Doesn't need to overplay his hand and really needs to pick and choose when to get involved.

Maybe Blocker understands where Ennis is coming from

He only won 2 series from 8 if my calculations are right Shows he was built for Origin when reserve graders like Dave Brown ,Brad Tessmann and the likes could make him look second rate in SOO

Go pat yourself on the head Blocker
