Farah not suited for Origin - Roach

The whole situation makes me sick. Its discusting and a disgrace how Robbie is being treated by Stuart & his cronies. I hope no Tigers players get selected and NSW get well and truly thrashed by Queensland.

I know for a fact that Blocker genuinely doesn't like farah as a person and honestly thinks he is not up to origin mainly because of his defense and the point you don't have the amount of time and space in origin as you do in club footy which is what farah relies on. (Disclaimer: I don't necessarily agree with this)

Also blocker and Ricky Stuart are very close and have been great mates for years. Everytime a coaching job comes up blocker is pushing stickys barrow.

This isnt a dig at you Mystery, rather a rant against this kind of mentality among selectors and media types you have mentioned in your post above.

Farahs defence is statistically superior to his rivals for the position in past years. this excuse is trotted out year after year in spite of the fact he is a far superior defender to ennis. As for relying on "time and space", doesnt every player???
Thurston doesnt rely on "time and space"? Lockyer didnt rely on "time and space"? ( i could go on and on with an endless list of great attacking players from the history of rugby league ) All attacking play in every sport relies on "time and space". The point is, you pick a player that will make the most out of any given "time and space", not just say , oh well he wont get much "time and space", lets pick a player who wont even do anything if does get "time and space". In other words, lets give up!
These selectors are bordering on braindead, with this mentality the team is beaten in the mind before they even take the field.

Could you imagine if they picked Robbie for SOO would dumd & dumber talk to him, I cant see Robbie being pjcked after this statement from this big clown, & as someone said they would only blame Robbie if they got beat anyway.

The gist of NSW selectors etc calling players like Farah, Campese, Wallace etc not "Origin Players" is basically saying that they think NSW Origin football should be a grinding dross fest and we hope we get lucky

I'm really peeved at Block.

To not back Robbie and tow the line for Stuart sucks.

No solidarity….what ever happened to bro's before hoes?

HE was man of the match in City-Country and his form in recent weeks has been stellar - but we are hearing Robbie Farah will be overlooked for NSW even if Danny Buderus is out injured.

The late mail suggests NSW will stick with Canterbury's Michael Ennis for Origin I if Buderus cannot overcome an achilles issue. Last night, the Knights named Buderus for this weekend's match against the Roosters.

Privately, Farah believes there is a set against him although he does have Origin support from coach Tim Sheens, skipper Benji Marshall and former Tigers hooker Benny Elias.

Ennis, though, is respected in the right circles and can enhance his chances with a big game for Canterbury against Parramatta this Friday night at ANZ Stadium.

It's getting beyond a joke now. This origin failure has done nothing what so ever thus season.

I am starting to get peeved off now.

Ya reckon?
The blues forwards coach bagging him in the media might have been a hint.

I suppose their is good and bad in all of this

After Qld wins its 7th series straight (this series 3 blot) They will be forced to sack the imbecile coach and his selectors who are even worse

Then some semblance of order will return

I actually feel sorry for my NSW comrades

You could see it a mile off. After discussing Buderus Stuart went straight on to how good Ennis is even playing injured when interviewed

Ah well if they pick ennis he will give away a penalty 5m from our line, Qld will score and win by 2\. Stuart will come out in the papers and say nsw lost cause they didn't aim up, have the passion, there was an eclipse sheens butted in the refs have it in for nsw we played in melbourne and and it was someone elses failt, and accept no blame and ignore the fact this idiot gave away the game.

….and now it's reported Stuart was up in Newcastle yesterday having breakfast with Buderus telling him he still wants him to play Origin - even though Buderus says he was thinking of making himself unavailable!
Seriously - does anyone hear of Meninga doing this sort of thing?
If he does at least he keeps it on the quiet.
WHAT A JOKE!

Also did anyone else see Trent Barrett NSW assistant coach at bulldogs training yesterday hamming it up with Ennis. It's a joke Robbie should just concentrate on the Tigers as his chance of getting picked are slim to none.

i think it was 2003 when i stopped watching all rep games.
tried again when farah was picked for game 1,then saw he was instructed to pass from dummy half only.

stopped watching after game 1 and doubt i will ever watch it again.
not the same as the 80's to mid 90's.

Well there is little chance of that.

It's all irrelevant now. They can't pick Farah, they have backed themselves into a corner.
I wonder is Dessie will cop a spray for pushing his player for Origin
