Their are a couple of points to note
1–The article was in the Tele crap who have a massive axe to grind against Sheens and the Wests Tigers and of course both Blocker and Sticky's articles would have been written by one of their rubbish jurnos.
2--Blocker is on the payroll at the Blues
3--Blocker and Ricky but especially Blocker isnt the sharpest tool in the shed and the mouth is usually quicker than the brain
Back to the article, if skill and guile isnt required maybe Big Mal should drop his no9 in Cam Smith. Iam afraid both Blocker and Sticky are just drumming up publicity at Sheens and Farah"s expense.

Is there any other player that cops the 'not suited for origin' line? It drives me crazy - just a way to justify not picking Farah without having to give actual reasons.
This one is quite simple.
1) Blocker has a bit to do with the blues camp and as such shoulders some of the blame for them not winning a series since 2005.
2) He is great mates with Bozo Fulton - a selector who only picks those who are a part of the 'in' group. You can always hear him frothing at the mouth in his protection of Fulton when he is attacked by callers on 2GB.
This is a reply from a man who is incompetant in his job and is terrified that he will lose his role. If Bozo and the boys want Buderus, Blocker will tow the line an say what he is told to say.
I mean seriously….How can you justify the non selection of a bloke who posses "skill and guille" and say he is not Origin material? This sort of thinking is just braindead. I feel sorry for NSW supporters...you are never really given a chance when the powers that be refuse to allow the best side to take part in the Origin series.

It seems strange to me that when Sheens tries to talks up Robbie to play SOO, Ricky Stuart and everyone else has a problem with it. But a few weeks ago when Bennett was doing the exact same thing with Buderus and last year with Soward, none of this went on.
