Farah on the Bench

He wouldnt have been picked even if he was fit. The only way Farah was going to play another game was if he had completed a deal to sign with another team. The only way that was going to happen was if he agreed to a reduced pay out from the wests tigers. They would have used it as part of their bargaining power. However Farah hasnt budged and thats why the circus continues. My opinion only before anyone loses their pants, as no one really knows whats going on.

I have to idea if you are correct in this but if so then a pathetic situation. The board was about 100% agreed before he was dumped that him coming off the bench was working terrific. Then after being dropped he is nobody's child. Everyone wanting him out are putting the person before (or behind) the team - funny that was what the pro RF supporters were accused of.

We have buckelys chance of winning this weekend without him, and only a minority chance of winning with him, but at least that is what we are on about getting into the finals.

You must think that Robbie is superman if you think that he gives the team a chance of winning if he plays this weekend whilst he is injured.

Straw-man Argument CB …one that can never be won...wont stop people trying tho..

Farah has been unfit to play for a month...

If he has an injury that will take awhile to heal….why can't we put him in the back of a ute and give him a lap around LO to show him how much we have appreciated his services over the years....couldn't be that hard for him to get in the ute....

He hasnt retired or signed elsewhere…it would be a bit presumptuous

Injured or not, I think this should happen. I wouldn't play him though. The team has moved on.

I'm with Ink, the guy is still a contracted player for next year at this stage, so no parade and not playing as per reasons from the coach.

He may be here next year. I don't see why we would do anything at this point.

Would love to see Farah come into the side but Taylor has already drawn his line in the sand.
If i was Taylor, i would put all that aside and not name him until game day as a surprise tactic for his last game at the old lady and provide the experience that may need in this game.

Yeah fair enough, if he's still on the books for 2017 no reason to get excited. My point was more, if he announces his departure this week, we should give him a send off. He deserves that much.

This time last year we thought he was leaving the club and at the last Campbelltown match of 2015 he certainly received an emotional ovation.

Played pretty good too- and with the halves.

We all know he wont be here next year. I love the guys on here still toeing the line, "he isnt in the team for not following coaches order". Please give it up, your only fooling yourself. Even JT is to embarrased to say that in public.

Thats right.
If I were Taylor if hes fit and they can or have made semis I would play him.
Lets face it if we qualify nobody even here gives us much hope so the emotional lift we get could lift us.
Remember too his last game with club he lifted side from 12 nil down.
When Halatau is off and Rankin at dummy half we don't score many because of backline disruption.
This would fix that.

Whilst the team has performed well without RF in patches it's clear at times that we need him at 9 controlling the ruck. He adds another dimension (one clearly lacking v Penrith) as there is no threat from dummy half. We also miss his short kicking game.

If RF is fit, he must be in the 17\. As they say time will tell.

If he has been unfit for a month, which I strongly doubt why was he named in the team last week and the week before? Is he actually still at the club or has he run off through a hole in the fence somewhere?

That Hip Flexor Injury takes ages to heal guys.

Also requires spending late nights out with mates on the town - that must be the part of the rebab manual that Timmy Moltzen followed as well - never quite seemed to recover from injuries quickly….
