You give it to the best person for the job, who can handle the pressure and preferably one of the smartest players on the park.

Liam is none of those things and Anasta is.

its only a trial , we have some injuries , Anasta will be fine , he has a great knoledge of the game and with no Benji , he may just suprise us , the team still looks solid , but it is only a trial

This to me is one of the key issues this season. If Anasta plays like a dud does he get the boot.

I hope Potter realises that his job is on the line over these types of decisions.

I reckon Lawrence should be thrown the ball, but Anasta is not a bad choice.

If he ends up being some kind of footballing savant I'll humbly retract my statement, however what interactions I've had with him and heard through others closer than me prove otherwise.

There are at least half a dozen better suited "Thinking Footballers" in our team for the role of Captain.
