Farah should be shown the door

Just because you're a super star, doesn't mean you're God. It certainly doesn't mean you're immune to questioning and being held to account. Bringing down a club is unforgivable no matter who you are. A true clubman doesn't do that. With some, the more successful they get, the more untouchable they consider themselves. It's all power and greed.

Look, if you want to hear it straight from Robbie Farah, just watch this video.

Farah is the greatest player to wear WT jersey. We are nothing without him. He has poured blood sweat and tears for this club. The last thing I want is some blow in coach to get rid of our best player because he cannot communicate with the players. I think its time for a change at the coaching level.

Youre not understanding the supposed situation at all.

Sideline eye….your links a dud, took me to Tony Abbott...is this some sick joke or sumfink?

What a rubbish thread this is :crazy Honestly some people on here are so gullible and will believe anything that's hearsay, make believe and all. Robbie is not a snitch. He doesn't strike me as a gutless, stab you in the back, sort of person. He has class , integrity and has always been very honest and upfront with his views. The media is milking this for all its worth and some on here is adding more fuel to the fire. Lets be patient and we'll know soon enough what the club decides to do.

Yeah, it would be sick if it was a joke; I wouldn't knowingly do that to my worst enemy. Looks like News.com have replaced Robbie with Tony.

Wests Tigers skipper Robbie Farah backs Mick Potter

Wests Tigers skipper Robbie Farah has thrown his full support behind under pressure coach Mick Potter - denying claims the senior playing group are gunning for his head.

Sorry, but what did he do?

Yes. Someone please fill us in.

Did you read the Original Post..he's been a naughty naughty boy spreading rumours white anting Potter and leaking info to the press and accorrfing to Gordy Tallis is the one behind the push to axe Mick so he should be shown the door…. :unamused:

I have stayed clear of this thread for a while, but enough is enough, based on a head lining grab by a x former player in the media, most people on this forum want to hang the Wests Tigers greatest player ever> Crazy, crazy, even if their was a little bit of truth in this beat up, I would swing towards Farah. Anyway the bottom line I could coach tigers to plenty of wins with Farah in the Tigers, but have no hope without him.

This whole Potter thing has got out of control, and its the media who have blown it out of control, they rightly or wrongly are playing Mick as the victim and everyone else is a bad guy.

Mayer take control, because we could loose a legend or a coach or both

I really don't think Farah is the leak.
I could be wrong but I'm sure I've read before that he dislikes the media and these types of stories they put out.
I seem to remember him saying something to that effect when there was a media rumour of players in the playing group not getting along and that he and Benji didnt like each other.

If farah is responsible he needs to go. Irrespective how good a player he is for one simple reason it is the only way to make a permanent culture change at the tigers. The same thing that happened to sheens is now happening to potter if they sack potter and don't stand by him then the rotten culture in the joint will never change it will just be passed from one bad apple to another. If farah is responsible it would be sad to see him go but he has to so we can continue to instill a new culture into the kids we have coming through or else no matter how good they are the next ten years the tigers will be at the mercy of our playing group that hardly ever leads to success

A player whose career you could wish for, a good club that has looked after them throughout since junior days, Club captain, State of Origin representation?

Gordon Tallis has just confirmed Robbie told him face to face Potter can't coach and is behind the push to oust potter.

Farah also threatened Ayoub if Tedesco was not signed he would sack him as coach I think we all know now who runs the club what a joke the tigers have become.

Farah had a tongue in cheek comment about "having a word" with Ayoub if Tedesco signed for Raiders, thats all that was. Ayoub was also just on radio saying it was BS Farah ever threatened him.

As for Tallis, who knows if he is relaying the whole truth. Did Robbie tell him some frustrations he had over Potters style, did he flat out call Potter a hack and admit to being behind the whole push to see him gone? Can you see Farah really just offering all of that up to a member of the media let alone a guy like Tallis?

Maybe its all true, but it feels like Gordie is giving us a more interesting (read: inflated) version of the truth.

Come on, lets not lose our heads over something Cro-Magnon man said.
