Farah/Taylor Thread...

Ayoub has had the speed dial working I see! Farah is a discrace if he was told he was to be rested yesterday well that is it ,but no that is not good enough let the media hacks off the leash.

If Farah was fit and ready to go yesterday, than Taylor needs to go for not selecting him. What ever is going on between these two can not be allowed to destroy our season. In the conditions yesterday we needed Farah more than ever. Anyway someone has to show some leadership and flick Taylor or Farah or both

WESTS Tigers coach Jason Taylor has thrown another tin of petrol on his simmering feud with Robbie Farah.

In the wake of the his side’s 32-18 loss to the Roosters, Taylor was more than happy to hand over his support for James Tedesco to be elevated into the NSW State of Origin team after his return from injury.

But Taylor also refused to confirm if the NSW incumbent hooker would be rushed back into the Tigers’ starting team for Friday night’s clash with South Sydney.

On a wet and wild afternoon at Allianz Stadium, Taylor had four chances to shut down the conversation about Farah’s immediate future in a bizarre post match media conference but instead he intentionally chose to leave the debate open.

–------------------------------------------------------

Why Jason?

Maybe he wants to bring things to a head.

Maybe the club has finally got the cash to pay Farah out ?[/quote

If that was the case all they'd have to do is pay him, there's no need for Taylor playing games.

One other problem if Farah were to Go , who will play hooker, Cherrington Going to Penrith possibly by the end of June, and not much good anyway, , Halateau ..hopeless!
And Liddle not ready
And thanks to Taylor wanting to make a statement to Robbie , we now have a half fit hooker with dodgy knees , who finds it hard to complete a game
Good work Taylor . Another coaching master stroke

I have no problem with Robbie being 'rested' yesterday. When Ballin was in, you could get away that line to the media - Robbie played on Wednesday, and there is a short turn around for the Souths game. However, once Ballin was ruled out the line that Robbie was being 'rested' was never going to be satisfactory to the media and fans.

Perhaps there was not a lot of time, but at the point of Ballin withdrawing, the Tigers needed to go on the front foot and take leadership of the issue. If Robbie was dropped for disciplinary reasons, say so. Taylor's response in the press conference seem to indicate that something is going on, but he came across as weak and a little passive aggressive. If Taylor had gone on the front foot and led, whilst it still would have been controversial and a big media issue, in the long run he and the club would have gained some respect, if not immediately, certainly down the track. Leadership is about making decisions in a confident, firm and consistent manner. You will not always be popular but you will gain respect. Instead, what we are left with is rumour and speculation, with other people controlling the story.

Slight aside, but is it possible that the Panthers are trying to move on Segeyaro so that they can make a play for Farah this year?

JT and Farah both need to be moved on, they are both cancer to this club and until they are shown the door I can't see any light at the end of the tunnel. But as they say the fish rots from the head first, pack your bags JT we don't need you.

We need to decide….who runs the team? Taylor or Farah. I'm guessing Farah would have played before he spiked to the media, as there was no defence for leaving him out once ballin pulled out.

Farah will be straight on a plane after we lose origin 2.

The sad thing is that this has now become a pissing contest between captain and coach over who has the most power.

The article from Farah the other week, what was that going to achieve apart from make himself look like the victim and pour more fuel on the fire with JT.

I have no doubt that Taylor resting Farah was a direct response to that saying 'I'm in charge here.' The post match comments back this up. If it wasn't and Taylor honestly thought running out a team with no hooker was a better option then it probably makes it worse as it's beyond ridiculous.

Both are putting this pathetic little feud before the better of the team and a stop needs to be out to it ASAP.

maybe the club would be better off asking Robbie who he wants as a coach. He and Marshall gave it Sheen's and Robbie was alleged to be instrumental in the axing of Potter. While i don't think Taylor couldn't coach a choko vine over an out house if he hasn't got the locker room he is doomed from the start.

Can you stop spamming the forum with the same post fixxhalo?

You've posted this in three threads in less than five minutes.

Bellamy played Smith on Saturday after he played the full 80 minutes in origin, he also played Cronk for the full 80 minutes as well on Saturday, so JT has one excuse, he has no idea

Sign Isaac De Gois for a mid season transfer. Sign all the hookers!

They both need to go post haste! If ever this club needed to cut some personnel, then this is the time. I can wait until the end of the year if necessary, but we need both gone at the start of 2017.
Maybe they could go to the ESL as a package deal - after all, they deserve each other.

Yeah, but Bellamy has certainly rested both before. Bennett rested a few guys this weekend.

Not sure why Farah is any different. Especially after the "I won't forget" comments in the media mid week.

It is different because the busted hooker JT bought to oust Farah was injured, so he took our best backrower and nullified him by playing him hooker, the depth of JT's stupidity knows no bounds.
