Injury Update - Robbie Farah

Sun 13th April, 11:48AM

Wests Tigers Captain Robbie Farah will be sidelined for an extended period after suffering a dislocated elbow in last night’s 16-4 victory over North Queensland at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

Scans last night revealed no fracture to the arm, however Farah is set to miss approximately six weeks with the injury.

Farah suffered the dislocation in the 78th minute of last night’s game, with the elbow relocated by Wests Tigers medical staff on field.

Huge loss :frowning: , although if you offered me 6 weeks when I first seen his injury, I would have taken it… Could have been a lot worse.

Get well soon Robbie!

Luani or Cherrington?

Would also float the idea of putting Austin in there but Potter has shown his hand that he wants players in their positions.

He will probably not be ready for Game 1 SOO as it is just short of 7 weeks

so, 6 weeks recovery and a little less than a week training for origin.

i know you'd hate to lose, but it's happening whether farah's there or not

big loss, especially with teddy out. If we can string together a few wins and stay there or thereabouts we will hopefully be able to make a nice run home with teddy, siro, farah all back.

Far out!!! Tedesco out for another 5-8 Weeks and now Farah out for 6…. Plus origin we wont be seeing him for a while. Why does this always happen to us when we are going well?!?!?! :brick: :brick:

The next six weeks looks like:

Rd 7 v Parra
Rd 8 v Titans
Rep weekend
Rd 9 v Roosters
Rd 10 v Cronulla
Rd 11 v Broncos (would've missed this due to Origin anyway)
Origin
Rd 12 v BYE

In reality, we're only really losing him for 4 games… He and Teddy are both likely to be back Rd 13 against Newcastle up there.

Honestly there is no reason we cant win 2 of the next 5 still with Round 12 as a bye

From memory

Parra
Titans
Roosters
Sharks
Broncos

If we do that we will still be thereabouts

Don't lose faith just yet Tigers fans

We play the perfect team during Origin haha

Yep… Totally unfair..
When we start to look good we get hit with injuries .. a curse ?

I think the 6 weeks is a worst case scenario. I assume he will only miss 3 games with the representative bye coming up that will be 4 weeks. Have a feeling he will be back against the sharks in round 10 before playing origin the following week, his a tough and determined bugger. I think if we can get 1/3 in the next month we will be well postioned heading into the origin period with teddy due back (hopefully)..

Wow we don't have to leave Sydney until Round 13 and even then it's just to head up to Newcastle.

Being 4 from 6 now is great because every one of those games is winnable. The Roosters are in poor form, we already spanked the Titans up there and get to play them down here, the Broncos too is a home game. Pity we don't have Farah now for them because at full strength we could have been heading into the mid season absolutely carving.

I reckon that with the injury to Robbie, the opponents during his absence, will not take wests-tigers seriously.
have plenty of faith in the team.
self belief and self confidence appears to be gaining momentum each game at wests-tigers.
