Ayoub is Farahs employee, yet when Ayoub comes out taking swipes and making threats against the club, having a go at coaches and admin…..and farah sits back and says nothing, that imo is an endorsement of his managers words.
If farah thinks this is smart, hes a fool, all it does is paint him in a poorer light and causes more division within the club
He needs to tell his mouthpiece to sthu and put a sock in it

Well said. Farah and Ayoub are one and the same as far as I am concerned.
Both were happy to bring the club down for their own agendas. Threatening the club with secret documents and emails and exposing all, yet what did we see, Nothing.
What happened with all the threats ?
No doubt Ayoub will be back in the papers when we move Farah on at the end of the year with more threats but little substance and Farah will be standing right along side him because as we know Robbie loves the club.

What really do you think Farah will do …what would you do for One Million dollars a year when you only have to work for 30 mins a week and this guy has the balls to want a job after he retires ,bleed the club dry ,destroys any chance of signing any quality players to make a play for any finals appearance and some here actually think this is a good thing well good for you! This guy has been destroying this club for years..

Geez Snake
Its well documented Benji and Robbie took less when they were worth more.. And that was to help the club.
\
\
Poor Robbie will get more daggers aimed at him when he retires..
I feel for the bloke

The fact that he did that, isn't counted
At least not until Snake can figure out how to turn that into a Farah conspiracy to
Destroy the club!!!!
Sort of goes in the same basket as getting to keep a fullback in the club when he was about to leave.
What was his name now….....That's right...Tedesco wasn't it?? :blah
Another mortal blow to the Club, by Farah :roll

Which fullback was that GCT ??

Whats that saying about rumours travelling around the world before the truth can put its shoes on

Last word on that , funny how the two players in question had the same manager…..

The threats ceased when we finally appointed a CEO who took control of the situation which the club prior to that, had handled disgracefully.
No fan of how it played out in the media however you are being naive to think that Farah being dumped by the club half way through his contract was not going to be jumped on by the media - regardless of who leaked the information the initial problem all stemmed from the clubs actions.
To Pascoes credit he has been able to resolve what seemed to be an untenable situation, and restored some level of professionalism.

Pascoe has done a lot of good things in a short time, from what I'm seeing. I'm glad he and Phil Gould didn't get along.

Have not heard a bad word about Pascoe in his short stay with us and that is pretty amazing at Concord where back stabbing was the no1 past time.

Also not getting on with Gould shows the man has real character

You're twisting things out of context… The club copped plenty of criticism... I agree it initially was handed ooor... However no player is bigger than any club, even Farah.
We're talking about something very different...the only naivety is those falling for Farahs /ayoub 'victim' inference

Yes. It's a tough gig that Pascoe put his hand up for . Some big issues have been handled very well so far.

Thanks TT. I'm fine with sacrificing Brooks or Moses if it means Tedesco stays, preferably Brooks. If we could get an experienced 7 for 2018 to be a foil for Moses and who can direct the side around we should be in great shape.

I've always felt we'll retain ET as long as what we offer is respectable. ET doesn't strike me as a player who will shop himself around to the highest bidder.

All in all, i'm really liking our potential squad for 2017.

I will continue to reiterate that i have confidence in Pascoe.

Also interesting to read Addo-Carr is still trying to renege. If that's true, why wouldn't Melbourne just let him. It's obvious he doesn't want to go.

Absolutely. Spot on GCT.
Re:Et not being the type of player who will shop himself around.

What type is that. ?
If you think that his Manager isn't talking to other clubs between now and seasons end, then you would be extremely nieve. ( and I don't think that you are)
But if he's not , then he's not much of a Manager.
eT would have been bought to the attention again , of more than one club since he came here. And no doubt will be looking at offers.
He's a professional sportsman and doesn't appear to be dumb.
I don't think he can be put into the " I love the Club, and will take less to stay",
That usually means there's a paper bag of money coming to my house every week
To make up the loss.
We don't have many paper bags to throw around.
I think we all want him to stay , but if he does, it will mostly be because of a competitive offer from WTs, not a fictitious love of the club

The majority of players want to continue being involved with their club or the NRL after they retire.
Robbie is not an exception. Imo, his knowledge of the game would be invaluable to us as a club. I would like to see him stay with us after retirement and contribute to the WT success. He would be an asset to us. Just my opinion.

The irony is that backended deal allowed the club to retain other players and remain under the cap. Now the club are banking on Farah again to help them out to retain ET.
Pascoe will need to be very measured when negotiating with Farah in light of what happened about this time last year.

Farah should do the right thing his employer has stated that his services are no longer required ,they have assured him he will be paid what he is owed regardless .What does this tell you about the man ,he has no regard for this club he has again as usual got his nose out of joint and will just sit back and cruise to the end of next season .It amuses me when many keep bringing up the money HELLO he is going to get his money it is not about money it is all about him as usual!

The club can not afford to pay Robbie out at this stage. If they did, he would've walked.
As for Robbie " cruising"… Lol, he's one of our best players.

@Chris said:
I havent commented on the whole Robbie Farah saga mainly because I'm not 100% sure on the full facts. We're only getting reports from the Tele and from most on here who act like they have the facts. I couldnt trust either for facts so it was easier to keep my opinions to myself.

What we do know is that Robbie was in negotiations for this current contract he is in, most on here were in the fetal position and ready to lose their minds at the thought of Robbie playing elsewhere. At the time, Robbie was by far and away the number 1 hooker in the game and the most exciting hooker to watch.

It's common knowledge that for Robbie to stay, he would have to sign a backended deal so the club can stay under the cap and for him to get paid what he was worth at the time. Please, everyone, re-read that last sentence.

Everyone was happy that Robbie stayed and everyone was ok with him being paid much less than what he was worth to stay at the club. Admittedly, his form 2 years ago was Robbie in his prime and he was blowing teams away. Fast forward to today, now that Robbie is closer to retirement than when he debuted and his form isnt up to his usual standards (which is still better than most hookers running around) now most people are happy to see him go. How is this fair to Robbie who took a pay cut to stay loyal to the club? We got the best of Robbie and paid unders for it. Dont you think that the only fair thing now is that we pay Robbie what is owed to him and let him finish his time at the club on his terms?

Loyalty is something everyone has been crying for claiming that it has been lost to the game. Isnt loyalty a two way street? Robbie showed his loyalty to the club and I think the club should show that same loyalty back. Im an old school kind of bloke and I've always believe regardless of whether it's popular or not but what's right is right. If we shook Robbie's hand and got the best out of him for less then the club should give him the best and receive less from Robbie now in return.

I believe we should stop shopping him around, honor the contract we signed with him and let him finish his time here on his terms, It's just the right thing to do.

Most on here will throw the perception of Robbie that he is way too involved in the locker room politics at the club and so on. Now, I'll state that I have no knowledge or proof but it's just a thought that has always come into my head and I'll finish my post with this…..

Robbie started clashing with Sheens when Sheens bought Johnny Morris and Jamahl Lolesi and started making crazy team selections and was convinced he can create players.

Robbie started clashing with Potter when he wouldnt make changes to the team when we were getting pumped.

Robbie started clashing with JT when JT was forcing Taylor Ball and now JT has thrown Taylor ball out the window they are getting along professionally.

Coincidence?

Bravo Chris. Great post.

Your BEST players start not sit on the bench to play for 30 mins a game . :righton:

I suppose it all depends on how the coach thinks he can get the best out of his team. If Taylor thinks Farah is more value by playing the 60minutes, than maybe your BEST player can start off the bench. Not the way i would go but the tactic has not failed us so maybe the coach knows a little more than me…and that would not be hard
