Robbie needed 3 more games to reach 250\. If he wasn't dropped, he would've played his 250 game at Leicharrdt oval playing the Cowboys. :frowning:
The whole situation is such a sad state of affairs.

As the coach said - What individual milestone (in the history of Rugby League) is more important than winning a match. Every player to ever near a milestone never makes it the point of focus… Ever.
I find it amusing that there is so much talk around the milestone - Now, Whilst he's still a Wests Tigers player for (presumably) the next 18 months.
Surely, He'll play another 3 matches for us in that time.. What is to say he won't do exactly as the coach asked him, and celebrate the milestone in Rd 26 at LO against the Raiders? - As the Wests Tigers March into the Finals for the first time in 5 seasons.

I don't buy into the rubbish thrown around about Robbie not been a team player, not doing
as the coach asks. He's not playing badly. Imo Robbie is the best hooker we have and he should be in the team, for the benefit of the team. I would've loved to see Robbie celebrate his 250th game at Leicharrdt oval against the Cowboys. It would've been a great day and it would've brought the crowds in.
I couldn't believe when JT said there's too many playmakers in the team. Seriously? I would've thought that's a good thing to have. :crazy This just tells me JT has no clue of how to utilise the talent we have in the team. 😕
I truly believe this is done to embarrass Robbie so he would leave the club and save $$$.

Kind of have to agree for the most part. Obviously JT thinks it's not working and is struggling to fit Robbie into his plans for the team, but yeah I'm with you - I don't really get it, I accept it, but it's a little hard to understand completely. The Cowboys seem to do alright, Granville doesn't just pass the ball off the deck to the playmakers - makes some damaging inroads running through the middle at times, not unlike Farah I would think..

Thats right Sco77y. So does Cameron Smith. All creative Hookers. Unpredictable. Confuses the opposition as they don't know what they are going to do. eg run it, pass it etc.
All great hookers in the modern game play this way. To just pass to the halve's is very predictable and easy for the opposition to read the play. 😱pen_mouth:

Nathan Peats (one of the better hookers in the game) had to pack up his family and move to another state - Where he has no family…

And there isn't as much hoo har as this ongoing saga...
Perform or get dropped, Do what I tell you - or get dropped...

It's that easy!!

Lol… JT should drop most of the team then.

Always a pleasure dealing with you.

I havent read the whole thread so i dont know if this has been raised or even possible but….
Its obvious WT want rid of Farah for next season, we are looking towards Liddle as the future but he's still too young and inexperienced to do a fulltime job and Ballin is no certainty to even play again.

We also need a centre and possibly another established hooker, im wondering if a swap with Leeds for Hardaker and giving Segeyaro a contract could work for all involved, Segeyaro has an out should he get an NRL offer. Havent seen a hell of a lot of Hardaker but apparently can do a job in the centre's, thoughts???

I must say I have been to 2 Tigers NSW cup games this year (the first being Tigers vs Wenty at Wenty and today's game at Leichhardt) but in my thoughts of the game I deffinately noticed the halves had a much less significant part in the game today.. I don't want to sound like jumping on the hate for Robbie bandwagon but I definately noticed it…

P.s Curtis Sironen had a top game!!

Don't agree I was there and they had plenty of ball and opportunity, just didn't take it.
No different when cheerington was at hooker!
Farahs passing was better today.
Also glad addo-Carr was dropped to state cup another masterstroke from the scarecrow!

Agree.. Went out to LO and it was the Robbin show .. Mostly cause there is so much more time and space in Intrust. Looks like they are trying to mould Sirro into an ET type role and I reckon it would work. Cherrington was average and only got 20 mins by struggled in D still . The one that showed some spark was Marshall King. Peninsula and MCK were ok but think big gap in quality time Simms and Kev but seemed defensively should. JAC scored a couple as usual that no one else would have scored

Whether Farah stays or goes we need taylor out the door. How is our next player with options from rival clubs going to react after the club legend is treated the way taylor is behaving right now? If i was being offered a deal by any rival club at the moment or in the near future the thought of taylor would not be a good one. So farah is gone moses gets more ball next year he looks like a better player and then adios amigos thank you I'm outta here….....moses signs with another club for better coin and taylor is standing there like a fool with his badly fitted tigers jacket. No player can believe a word he says because he has zero integrity and loyalty doesn't count in this club. Robbie might not be the best hooker in the nrl but he isn't far from it and he is definitely a competitive player in a young team. Taylor is an arrogant wanna be full stop, if he thinks he knows this team best then he is on some hallucination inducing medication and his bosses need to step in. It's not rocket science its simple this is a power trip by taylor and we don't need it. The only person that's dug his heels in is taylor by insisting that robbie doesn't belong at the club, pack your bags taylor and be gone. As long as this sardine is coaching my jersey is staying in the closet.

We have nothing left in our second tier salary cap, so that might be why JAC is playing Intrust Super Premiership atm.

Not sure, who will they sign with? The Broncos after what they did to Copely, Manly after what they did to Ballin, Dogs after what they did to Lafai, Roosters after their treatment of Jennings, Knights and Houston & so the list goes on. Every club moves players on. These players still get paid the contract money from the club they leave less what they took at the new club.

Unfortunately league teams are like a big business these days, the difference between the players above is that they looked for an opportunity elsewhere and moved on, while Robbie digs his heels in, says he will be here no matter what and takes his gripes to the media making it a bigger circus than it already is.

Ennis hanging up the boots in 2017.

Let the trumours begin.

We will soon see if Farahs mates over there (Gallen, Heighno, Bryce Gibbs etc) will make an offer now that there is a vacancy…..or is their support for Farah "he is a great bloke...just as long as it isnt here" type support.....
