I read an article i think from RLW that Leeds are chasing Farah for 2017 and have offered massive coin to him for either a 2 or 3 year contract.

I reckon if he goes it will be the best thing for Robbie and the club. Robbie gets a few more years on marquee money and the Tigers cap is a million dollars better of for 2017.

Thoughts?

For sure it's in the best interest for all parties concerned .

Farah would be respected for giving us a massive Cap relief , surely he knows that the NRL is out of his League these Days .

I will believe it when i see it .

Wests Tigers would still pick up a fair chunk of Farah's salary for 2017 I would imagine..Farah played well last night he would kill it at Leeds who are struggling after losing a lot of experienced players…Would probably end up their leading Goal scorer..

Best for both parties? What a comic you are Gallagher. He was close to the best Blues player last night and a far superior performance than the sub standard effort from Ballin last game. You want him gone!

To be fair Ballin may improve on that effort and Robbie is taking up a lot of our cap. Still you make a really good point.

No. He still has a lot to offer the club.

Like what?

It would only be individual things , maybe building on his appearances for the Club or building on his undeserved State of Origin selections .

It's not as if the Club is molding a team around him , he knows the Club doesn't want him anymore just to stubborn to recognize the needs of the Club.

In the NRL community it seems Farah is not liked at all….on Monday Night on the Matty Johns show they were literally laughing at him and taking the piss out of him , even Woodsie was having a laugh when he replied to a question from Hindy " who was the least deserved of a Blues Jersey " he replied with " Farah for sure he doesn't even have to play in the NRL and gets selected " , yeah it was a joke but surely that has to strike a cord with Robbie.

Even Michael Ennis was filthy on Tuesday Night as he felt his form warranted higher honours .

Nowhere near $950k worth.

This would be a godsend for our cap relief and rebuild.

That's the bottom line, do I think he is a club legend? Yes.. Do I think he is still playing to first grade standard? Yes.. Are we getting value for money at $950k a season? No

This is my opinion as well. I'd love to see him go but it's mostly based upon the salary that we are paying him.

Obviously you were busy sticking needles in your RF doll when the SOO was on!

Think you're on your own on this one buddy….
It's clear we're a better team without Robbie.
Time for him to move on.

He's playing well. Quid pro quo. Did he refuse to play when he was getting less to assist the club? It seems many have forgotten loyalty works both ways!

Yeah i'm sure we would still be paying a good percentage of his Contract , Farah won't be loosing any $$$$$ .
We would be able to retain Cherrington and get Liddle playing State Cup next year in readiness for 1st Grade in 2018 .
Ballin will be gone after next year , Cherrington and Liddle will be in 1st Grade together from 2018 onwards and we will have a chance of choosing our best hooker option between the 2 if we decide to choose on 1 hooker to play 80 minutes or maybe the Coach wants to share the hooking role between the 2 ?

As it stands at the moment Cherrington will be a Panther next year .

Loyalty cuts both ways you do not drag your club throw the mud by unleashing your media mates ..loyalty is you do not trash your last 2 bosses (coaches). You get respect by respecting others not much of this shown over the last few years, what goes around comes around.

That is the wedge that's dividing everyone on this and is the main reason why fans want him gone , he simply isn't worth the coin that his demonstrating on the field and that is the biggest issue in our Club in recruiting better players .

He wouldn't be worth more than $400,000 a Season form wise and that is being nice . Being an Origin player doesn't count cause he was always going to get selected regardless…..it wasn't as if he had to bust a gut at Club level to try and get in.

It is best for both parties. Farah will go somewhere he is wanted and the club is rid of someone who enjoys dragging the place through the proverbial every three months.

The saddest thing is Farah has it in him to perform but he just doesnt…

E.G.

Warriors & Dragons game last year when he was told to look elsewhere

Super League allows one Marquee player outside of the Salary Cap and Farah would be a dominant player in England. He would attract a 3 year deal on big money so hopefully we front load his payout this year so we can start fresh.

Ballin is no longer first grade standard we have to go with the younger players and rotate Liddle an Cherrington or sign a hooker that is first grade standard.

Based on what? Did you actually watch him play for Manly last year or are you going off the single game he's had back since returning from injury?
