The thing I don't like is quite a few seem to be salivating at Farah's downfall. Like him or not I don't think there has been enough respect from the club or certain fans on here.

They call him names, they lambast him at every opportunity.

The guy has played 247 fro our club and played Origin and tests and won a comp.

I just find it ordinary and baffling.

I respect the guys who offer constrictive criticisms of Farah but for mine its been far too childish and spiteful from some on here.

Hard to disagree with that. Neither he nor Taylor deserve some of the insulting stuff that's been said about them on here. God none of us even know the guys!

Someone on Facebook called for a contract to be put out on Taylor. Another said coward punching was fine in JT's case (Re: Fa'aolgo)

Good to see you have time to research and report on the nutcases who don't like Taylor.
Could you do some research on the other side?

No research was required. Just comments i've seen with my own eyes. I've seen a lot of unsavory things said about Farah. None were as extreme as the examples i gave, hence why i mentioned them specifically/

That's insane! There are some real idiots out there. The main problem with social media is it allows us to see what really goes on in the minds of every Tom, Dick & Harry and highlights just how many depraved people there are in the world!

The couple idiots that have invaded this forum the last couple weeks is a snapshot of what of people are like with their comments on Facebook. It's a real cesspool.

So if you know it's like that why do you even take notice of these comments?? That's what I was alluding to before. I gave Facebook away because it's so full of crap, it's like a fantasy land.

I don't, they are not worth replying to. But i was giving examples of what i've seen, to follow up Flip's point.

Face book is not moderated like this forum. I suggest that if the forum wasn't moderated it could quite easily get a lot uglier on here at times too.
FB has too many users to suggest that it is not representative of the wider community. Unfortunately some people vent in ways that others find offensive and or inappropriate and FB allows them to do it.

250 is just a number. No player is entitled to these things. Great servant to the club, but it's time to move on.

I'm still salty about Michael Potter being sacked. Can't wait to see Robert Farah go. And for those saying he's a current NSW rep, best hooker in NSW at the moment, etc.,yeah, he's not. Laurie Daley just likes him way too much.

The same comment about Fa'aologo punching Taylor being fine, or in this case funny, was made on this forum. I don't know how he got away with it.

**_Almost resigned to the fact he won't play his 250th NRL game at the joint venture_**

This is the worse thing about this whole juvenile saga between Farah and the coach. I thought it was a very low act to deny him of his 250th with this club, especially since his form did not really warrant him being dropped. Playing him from the bench was working well, there was no real need to change that right now as he approaches this milestone. It was a complete dog act, but that's just my opinion.

Mate i think more would agree with you than disagree. It takes a special person to deliberately deny that honour

What would happen if Farah turned up at reserve grade and played exactly to Taylor's script? Taylor would have no option but to put him back in the first grade side. If he didn't, Taylor really would lose the dressing room because the team would see that Farah is really having a go. As it stands, no one on the team seems all that fazed by it. Maybe they know something we don't.
My point is, if Farah really loves the WT as he says, he'll do whatever he can to regain the first hooking spot. If he does that he doesn't have to go anywhere. There is no drama.
Respect is a two way street.

Exactly. I'd also like to know where all the proof is that Robbie leaked all sorts of stuff to the media or that he has white anteed coaches.

I think the guys who know for a fact that Robbie has screwed coaches over now and in the past on here are just as bad. Where are the facts ? If they exist no problems. If not then what sort of a person says stuff like that.

I think it's pretty clear that Robbie isn't getting picked in the team based on something personal or something that he has nothing to do with.

Robbie has been great this year. I even heard JT state how good he played in a game earlier this season.

Yes Robbie can just turn up and play reserve grade and try to force his way into first grade. I honestly think that is what I would do. The problem is that he is getting crucified for doing this. The guy can't win.

You can't honestly believe that. What script did he play to against Penrith? Why was he singled out after that game by the coach - a winning game ,- and his game by all reports was scrutinized by Taylor pointing out his flaws and he was dropped.
What the players think has no bearing on the situation but it is clear there is no place for Farah at WT s anymore because the coach doesn't want him and that's where it starts and finishes.

I do honestly believe it. At the moment it appears the team is content to continue playing without Farah even though (as many have pointed out) Farah is their mate. That tells me that they recognise something amiss with the way Farah is following the game plan.
Further, because Farah is mates with many on the team, it would be a big risk and really unwise for Taylor to tell Farah he can still be selected for first grade based on form and then not select him if he makes the changes required. If that happened, the team would see the duplicity and dump Taylor like a rock. He would definitely lose the dressing room.
If Farah plays to the script Taylor will select him, he has no other choice given his public statements. The ball is in Farah's court. The media stunts are no longer working for him. Play the team game or move on. I'd personally be happy with either, though I can't imagine Farah swallowing his pride to accept the former.

I believe all that Farah would want is merit based selection for the hooker position.
