This is the worse thing about this whole juvenile saga between Farah and the coach. I thought it was a very low act to deny him of his 250th with this club, especially since his form did not really warrant him being dropped. Playing him from the bench was working well, there was no real need to change that right now as he approaches this milestone. It was a complete dog act, but that's just my opinion.

Yep…. The Farah haters can say what they like but at the end of the day Farah gave great service to our club for more than a decade, the way this all played out was an absolute disgrace and these same Farah haters wonder why our club is the joke of the NRL. JT should be shown the door for the part he played in all this he is nothing but an ego driven grub.

I'm not going to defend the dropping, but I think it's fine he missed out on his 250th game. When else would you drop him? During origin? Or weeks before the semis? There is no good time.

Couldn't have expressed it better. Shows what a flawed character we have as coach. The treatment of Farah disgusts me as a Tigers fan of 40+ years. To me, it is inevitable that the next coach that takes the Tigers to premiership success WILL NOT be Jason Taylor. In the interim, we watch him treat a true Tigers legend in Farah in a most spiteful and selfish manner. It is appalling behaviour and he needs to be (and will be…in one way or another...hopefully peacefully...but....) held to account.

I agree. I think the club should move JT on based on the way Robbie has been treated. I see it as lacking integrity.

But it is a number milestone treasured by many. As Robbie was in a winning team playing and scoring well himself there was no justification for shafting him. Only shows lack of empathy to a loyal player whom always tried his hardest. It gives a warning to future top players not to give too much loyalty to the Club.

Guys what is the problem ..They are giving away Souths jumpers pretty much these days and you have two seasons to watch the legend play and you can sit in the burrow all good .

We follow the team and we want the best players in the team not second rate stand-by fill-ins whilst the champ is unnecessarily sidelined. We want to see Moses hopefully excel to great heights - the team does not belong to JT. Without contented fans the Club will not get too far.

Responding to a valid point, in extreme stupidity, for no good reason, but anyway…..

Well I probably wouldn't have dropped him at all on his current form this season. If his form warranted it, drop him for sure, but I don't think it did - his impact was good coming off the bench. I just thought it was an unnecessary change to a team that was finally starting to gel somewhat, but that's just my view.

If reports that he has signed or is soon to be signing with Souths are true then the dropping may well have been the act that forced his hand. Would it have been any better if it had been done at the start of the season when he was on 235 games or whatever it was?

I don't personally think it was done out of particular malice to deny him 250 games for the Tigers, I think Taylor probably only just got the green light to do what he wanted to do all along.

I agree. I also wonder if those giving it to Taylor over this would have been happy to see ET leave next year? There are the usual suspects here that just want a reason to rip the coach…. it's getting boring.

The coach has the right to pick his team. He also lives and dies by results. I don't care who JT wants to pick, as long as he is accountable for results.

I do feel for Robbie but i also feel the hard call has been made for the mid-long term.

According to zerotackle

St George Illawarra are poised to ramp up the chase for Robbie Farah - and re-sign Benji Marshall - after missing out on Jarryd Hayne.

Hmmm, not all that long ago a spine containing Marshall, Widdop & Farah would have been awesome - not so much these days, sadly.

Yeah I'm not sure where Dooges is at these days. I think he still has plenty of talent, but he's rarely on the field long enough to know!

And rarely at fullback.
