Farah to SOUTH SYDNEY in 2017..OFFICIAL..

If Farah goes down this path then it will be time for a few of his team mates to stand up and say whats really going on. Taylor has taken it all on his shoulders to protect his players, but if the truth comes out Farah will realise he has very little support.

What truth ? Seriously I want to know. It sounds to me exactly like what Robbie states has happened - i.e. he is being bullied out because he costs too much money.

I don't like Robbie but I think he is the best hooker in the club and I would play him. He will be gone in a seasons time anyway. I just think that this is all stupid.

It was so stupid to pay him so much money for 4 seasons. How freaken dumb was that decision. Honestly it's nearly as dumb as the way they've handled the situation now.

This is all a shambles and the club should sack anyone who is somewhat involved in this situation because anyone that dumb should be shot. I mean sacking them is the least that should happen.

Sacking numerous club officials for their part in what is a routine business operation in rugby league - allowing a player to negotiate with other clubs.

heres a "wild" thought…..

maybe this action or intention to act is merely a way to force the club to once and for all make a decision on his future ?

anyone know how much a Qc costs ?
anyone know how much taking a matter like this to the courts will cost ?
The parramatta club recently spent upwards of 500K challenging the nrl, and that was 1 1/2 sittings in the actual court room

Farah's manager - sure a lot of you dont like the guy, but hes as up to speed as they come.
im quite sure he would have legal advisors that would challenge the club - based on everything thats happened to date, threats of reserve grade, this whole team cohesion rubbish, SOO this year etc etc etc
.......... and have a minimum of a 50/50 chance of succeeding

In legal worlds this means - they are forcing to the club to make a decision that will reduce their legal bill, reduce the matter continuing in the public domain and - everyone would hope - ending this merry go round once and for all

if not, the club could end up paying his contract out, paying a massive legal bill + his (if he wins costs) annnnnnnd ongoing medical treatment costs.

mental health issues are a big deal in our game at the moment ....

wow ! what a debarcllllllllllllllllle

whos got the popcorn, this could actually become a bigger circus than whats its been

The club has made a decision re RF's future and they have communicated that to him and they have acted on it. The ball has been in his court for some time.
But you may be right it's about money, to quote you, "they are **forcing to the club to make a decision** that will reduce their legal bill". There's a word for that isn't there?

I guess we can safely assure we will never see him in a Tigers jersey again

Thats the bottom line. Even with all the crap going on its great to know he's gone whatever happens.

50/50 is a fair assumption in this matter…

Imagine losing and being forced to pay millions in legal cost of his own and Wests Tigers?!

Its his last play... Simple as that.

One thing for certain if this does happen. No other club will touch him!

He has the same legal rights as anyone else
If he has genuine grounds( and none of us know whether he has or not) he's perfectly entitled to sure the arse off them, if he hasn't he'd be wasting his time.

All of a sudden we have Solicitors on this Forum cause there calling him a Peanut for taking such action .
Pretty much what you said Gold Coast Tiger…..if he wants to sue the Club cause they dropped him to Reserve Grade ? I doubt he has a case , unless it stipulates on his Contract that he was Employed only for 1st Grade which i doubt .
If he has grounds that his been bullied around the Workplace to make him uncomfortable and to force his hand to leave ? then he might have grounds to sue .
I think a Solicitor isn't going to waste his time if there isn't sufficient evidence.

This will only finish when Jason Taylor and Farah leave at the end of next year . Then we start again :unamused:

I think its time Pascoe came out and nipped this on the butt. For me he has been way too quiet during this whole debacle. At the end of the day no one really knows whats going on. Pascoe needs to come out, cut the spin, and say it how it is. Until then the circus continues, and we all come up with our own conclusions based on rumour and innuendo.

The club has said what needs to be said:

1) RF has a contract till 2017 and they will honor it no questions asked,
2) The clubs preference is to run the NRL side with Halatau at hooker…(its their prerogative).,
3) RF has permission to negotiate for a contract with another club.

end of story....from the Clubs perspective....what is there more to say....

Now from RF and SA perspective...they just want to sh*t all over the club 'cause this is the first time anyone/the club has stood up to RF...and he cant handle the truth (as Jack Nicholson would say)..

And what if there,s things that we don't know about here. (I know that that's very unlikely), but is a teenie chance, despite our zealous search for the truth .
If by a chance that there is , and the club has things to answer for in their dealings with Farah.
Do you still think that it's end of story for the clubs perspective?
Or is Farah not entitled to take them to court if he feels the need to
Without any of us geniuses deciding who is right and who is wrong& who is right.
Last I heard, this was still a country where we had the right to go to court to fight something if we feel it was wrong.
So if one of us completely uninformed bystanders has proof that the club hasn't done anything that it can be sued for, please let us know.
Maybe some of the experts on everything can apply to be the judge

This shows how biased your viewpoint is. It's also funny because I wasn't just talking about the current shambles that some morons have placed us in. I was also talking about the idiotic decision to sign Robbie on a massive 4 year contract.

Under oath did you Mr Farah say Mr Potter could not coach .. Bring it on!

Didnt know that farah was the ceo back then and had power to get rid of potter. There wasnt strong leadership back then and there doesnt seem like there is now.

If Robbie does this he has lost all respect from myself. I agree with his position but you don't act like that. You man up and cop it on the chin.

If the coach doesn't want to play you then you don't play. You go to reserve grade and play to your best.

It's not about being right. It's about doing the right thing.

I'd have no issue with Robbie stating well I love this club and I'm going to play reserve grade unless I get picked in first grade.

Who cares. He is entitled to talk a little bit of crap if he wants too. It's not a big deal.

How many times at work does someone state the boss has no idea. I wonder if Potter even cared.

Some of you guys are so soft.

It's pretty simple really
It's mainly a question, if anyone one has proof that the club hasn't done anything that it can be sued for( in this whole thing) please let us know
Just asking for proof, something that is very light on most of the time

You're right. Noone did care.
Until farah skipped the dressing room after a game and went straight home, skipped a week of training and then turned up to the next game telling the coach he didn't want to play.
That's when fans cared. Noting to do with the action, but his over reaction.
I think you'll find farah is the soft one.

No - it shows that I am aware that those involved in the 4 year contract have already left the club.
