Depends on which side the argument you sit. RF believes his salary next year is $700,000.

What Farah believes is irrelevant, it’s what is on his 2017 contract lodged with the NRL and his tax returns lodged with the ATO says.

Isn't it a four year contract? You could probably guarantee his manager would be across it.

Not really sure what you are alluding to it being a 4 year contract and what the relevance is regarding your initial post?

And what would Ayoub be across?

Robbie, Ayoub and Weidler are all grubs. They are all unprofessional and have continually tried to play this ordeal in the public view.

Robbie is not entitled to a lump sum payment. Nor is he being terminated.

He can take his pay check the same way everyone else does. How he receives his money has no impact on his ability to sign for another club. Only when he can spend his money

Did Manly give Ballin a full payout in advance upon him leaving? Did Souths do it for Tim Grant? Penrith with Elijah Taylor? I highly doubt it, because that's simply not how it's done. Not just with us, but for all clubs.

Maybe super rich clubs like the Broncos just pay upfront so they don't have to worry about it anymore, but there's certainly no obligation to do so.

Did they ask for it ??????? or did they just rollover.

You blokes are kidding yourselves in you think the end will be the end…

People will be posting about ...Remember the day Robbie Farah saga...blah blah blah in 2057...

It'll end. The sooner the better but it will be forgotten soon enough.

Really steve…this is from page 59...

If you can't tell I'm an optimist. This isn't going to 120 pages (I hope).

Robbie Farah set to leave Wests Tigers

Wests Tigers have been notified that Robbie Farah will not be at the Club for the 2017 season.
Farah is set to be released from the final year of his playing contract to take up an opportunity elsewhere.
Farah has played 247 NRL games for Wests Tigers since his debut in 2003, was a Member of the 2005 Premiership winning team and is a Life Member of the Club.
Wests Tigers Members and fans will have the chance to farewell Farah at half time of Sunday’s game against the Canberra Raiders at Leichhardt Oval.
Farah said that he was very grateful for the ongoing support from Wests Tigers Members and fans and looked forward to saying farewell on Sunday.
“I’d like to thank Wests Tigers Members and fans for their support throughout my career, it’s been invaluable to me,” said Farah. “No matter what happens in the future this Club will always be special to me, it’s been a part of my life for so long, I have so many fond memories and have made lifelong friends here.
“I’m looking forward to getting out onto Leichhardt Oval tomorrow at half time and saying goodbye to those who have supported me for my entire career,” he said. “While it will be tough to watch the team from afar next season I wish my teammates all the best for the future.
“Most importantly, I have always played for the fans and am forever indebted to them for the support that I have received from them,” he said.
Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe congratulated Farah on his career with the Club.
“On behalf of everyone at Wests Tigers I would like to thank Robbie for his long-term contribution to the Club,” said Pascoe. “Robbie has been a major part of this Club for such a long time and will always be remembered as a Wests Tigers legend.
“We’ve been working closely with Robbie and his manager to get to a position to where we could give him the farewell that he deserves and it’s great that we can finally do that,” he said. “Tomorrow is going to be an incredible day at Leichhardt Oval and Robbie’s farewell at half time will only add to the atmosphere.”

Tomorrow has just got that much more important!

About time something official was announced. Best for both parties and all the best to Robbie wherever he ends up next season.

Great - will be there tomorrow and will have the opportunity to farewell Robbie with a full house. Sad - but good news too.

About time…. I'll be there and will have mixed feelings about Farahs departure...the good far outweighs the bad...the boys have every reason to play for now tomorrow

Expect the announcement via a Weidler article, with a couple more shots fired at the club on the way out.
