Farah to SOUTH SYDNEY in 2017..OFFICIAL..

Told today that he is not going to Souths so who knows

Who told??

Robbie told WT management?

or

South management told Robbie?

I'm increasingly thinking Farah will have to be blasted out of WT. If he is hanging out for WT to change mind or sack Taylor, they just cant. even if Taylor goes, WT management will have to pursue course decided upon with Farah going or all this cr*p we have gone through for the past year and a bit will be worthless. Players just cant run clubs. WT suffered that and we are just pulling ourselves out of that mess. I hope that the rumours floating around Payten arent true- maybe that's what Farah is hanging on for- saved by his mate????

With Farah still to decide where he will play in 2017

He could still be here next year. Another year of this would be great wouldn't it.

It would be but I think getting a two year contract would be high on his managers list to suck some more money off Robbie why he can

This club-swapping is like a merry-go-round full of drunks. Once it speeds up, they'll all fall into place pretty quickly.

I guess it's a little trickier than most negotiations. Even when he has decided which club he likes and they want him, then the clubs have to work out who pays what.

his showing in the intrust a few weeks ago was red hot….seems weird a player playing that well is not in the top grade....very weird

Beau knows Robbie segment on the the footy show is when it will be announced…
Someone reputable told me

If Robbie stays in 2017 he would definitely be in the top 25 squad.

Would like to seem him gone so WT and himself can move on but it appears he will be here in 2017 albeit playing State Cup on $950,000 a season (if figures banded around on tis forum are correct).

Hopefully Liddle and Ballin share the hooking role in 2017 and not a make shift hooker like this year.

Then in the Intransit Cup game against Penrith, his performance was NOT red hot.

Robbie may stay at the club. It's not a done deal. Even if he goes we aren't going to be getting massive cap relief.

This whole situation is a massive cock-up.

Can't see Luke going back to Souths given he wanted to be closer to the family by going to the Warriors but hey stranger things have happened.

If the decision to drop Robbie was based solely on getting him to move in 2017, but decides to stay, why not play him in the top grade if his form dictates it?

If you're paying him that much coin and he is going anyway in 2018, what's the use in burying that much cap in reserve grade?

I highly doubt they'll reward petulance with a first grade spot.

I'm starting to believe that he won't leave based on this. Dangerous game he's playing I reckon, the club will likely stick firm and will play him out in reserve grade until he caves. If it jeopardises his chances at playing Origin again he'll crack.
