Farah wants Origin recall

If he's not picked, then yes, they may as well chuck the city v country concept out the window. Pearce for 7 Robbie for 9 and Carney I'd say for 5/8.

Exactly. If Robbie,Woods and Pearce don't get picked after today scrap the concept.

Exactly as I see it , Farah & Pearce work so well together . Farah tackled himself to s standstill, and gave great service . Seriously if he doesn't get selected , it's a massive joke.

Woods played Very well and with Gibbs , they wouldn't let the Blues down

Farah showed his true class today, form which hasn't been exhibited so far this season. Not only could this justify state selection, but hopefully is a preview of things to come for the Tigers.

Kicked to space every time, always forcing the backline to chase the ball (forced a few drop outs), made 44 tackles (more than any player on ground) and took percentage options in attack, especially in some tense moments towards the end when the game was in the balance. His performance was good by anyone's standards, let's just hope the selectors muster some common sense and give him his long overdue 3rd game for NSW.

To have Ennis or Buderus in the same sentence as Farah is insulting to Robbie, he showed today how far he is ahead of both of them…

Why wait till today to show some class. God the Tigers needed that sort of class 7 weeks ago.Do you think that having Robbie playing SOO the Tigers might lose some momentum????? I'd rather not have any Tigers play in any rep sides, call me selfish but i'd much rather see the Tigers win then Robbie or Lawrence play for state or country.

I agree Carney Pearce and Farah… but the C v C concept has been a farce for years. Especially when Skando was the BEST FORWARD on the paddock when he played..better than all the other props...and they picked deadbeats in front of him..a DISGRACE.

Its not city v country thats the farce…its the selectors and the rules around non playing etc.
The game should stay.

What is a shame is that today we saw a really open game with a well policed 10 metres and a pretty clean ruck.

origin becomes about "being tough" grinding and a really narrow 10

Pearce was satisfied with his performance, but admitted he needed to continue at the same level for the Roosters to and ignore calls for Peter Wallace or Jarrod Mullen to wear his Blues No.7 jersey.

"I hear something different every week, but I was happy with my game and that is all I can do," he said.

**"I don't think my form has been that bad this season, but I enjoyed playing with Robbie and I think we compliment each other well."**

And Pearce says it again! I wonder if the selectors will actually listen to him this time :unamused: What odds can I get that they don't?

It was clear as dog sh** Farah & Pearce went well together.....it struck me immediately, that and as smeg mentioned it was very open game.
Fittlers been very anti wrestle....there seemed to be not so much today, bar one or two incidents

Same article, Fittler says that Robbie and Pearce have a great combination too. *fingers crossed* that selectors are listening…

Today was probably Farah's best game of the season so far. It was great to see the combination with Pearce. WOODS deserves to be in SOO what a game best prop on park hands down.

Robbie didn't make great forward metres but it was the step out of dummy half and the space and time he creates when on song that matters.

Anyone who watched last year's CvC game would remember that Farah and Pearce seemed to click really well.

Same happened again today.

For all the wanking over Buderus in the media this year up until last week he had 0 try assists, 0 line breaks, 0 line break assists. He has nothing in attack.
