Holy moley lets start a Josh Reynolds appreciation thread for being a nice bloke and getting paid a fortune for it.
Farah for all his faults should not be copping crap at the end of his career when players are currently at the club on huge contracts for no service.

Why the sarcasm re Reynolds? It was the same situation (2 years left on a contract on big money that the current coach who did not sign either player thought it was in the clubs best interest to move along). **One handled it like a professional, the other didn't.**

You mean one **coach** handled it like a professional and didn't drop their current origin player to reserve grade out of spite... especially one that had money deferred from his contract to benefit the club.

The club weren't angels the way they went about it, but if you think the way Farah handled himself was completely above board....I'll let you fill in the rest.

Bingo, and that is how the crap started, and we are still trying to recover from the JT golden years

I forgot about Robbie telling Julia Gillard to get a noose and forced to apologize.
What a cringe moment. Then he back peddles and tells Julia to get tough on internet trolls when someone trolled him about his mother.

Thinnest skin in the game. Never was captain material.

How exactly? The recovery came in the form of a full salary cap that his replacement couldn't have stuffed up any more if he had tried. Whatever mess Taylor created has long been replaced by Cleary's back stabbing.

If JT hadn't tried to out ego Farah, the supposed big 4 fiasco would not have happened, because there would have been no infighting, and Teddy and the boys, and JT as well would most likely be still here, there would have been no Ivan the terrible to make dud signings

That is hearsay at best. The club had the chance to retain them when Cleary came on board. They didn't because it didn't matter to the players who was coach. As if Tedesco was ever going to turn down the Roosters.

Yep. Robbie would have followed them and made them backflip, like he did the first time Tedesco signed with another club.

He would have helped Moses's mental health issues the same as carried Akauola through the Jason Taylor created dark periods.

He would have also turned water to wine and fed the masses (an Easter Monday crowd at ANZ).

@The_Patriot yes i could be giving 100% myself when im 54 and pats on the back for that, but i wouldnt expect to be selected starting every week though my efforts are there when i cant catch many in a running race in the nrl at all. i like Robbie, just in my personal opinion last year was a perfect time for retirement there again overplaying his hand. this year was perfect time for Liddle as a debut year and i dare say we would have 4 points more on ladder,(just my opinion) not single handedly but just the speed picked up from first play from the ruck infectious throughtout the team like cookie does, i think Liddle has better vision though cook has more speed

Liddle cost us the game. he is NOT ready

Rubbish!!!!

Would expect better from you - A little Liddle dislike showing here.

Whats rubbish?

We worked our way back into the game, had them on the back foot. Scrum 20 out and he goes to lock and throws a massive forward pass.

It was a clutch moment of the game. We needed players to stay calm and get us home.

He didnt handle it.

I like the kid but im over sugar coating players who cant handle pressure.

Its over to Liddle now to start delivering in those clutch moments and turn that kind of play around.

Well then, lets play him for 80 minutes without interference from other dummy halves.

Then make a judgement.

Ohh but that's Luke Brooks's excuse lol

well then, there must be something in it.

It is part of the problem but Brooks owns his form.

Have you informed all his fan boys. They would argue this point.

I found it funny someone said the other day I was making excuses for Brooks, I didn't want him re-signed, especially on a 5 year deal, I was accused of hating him, now I am making excuses for him, funny really..
When in reality I think he is way over rated, his defence has improved but he has delivered bugger all, but we went all in on him, so we have to make it work, and getting a 7 and moving him to 6 would be a good first step I reckon.

The rest is barely A grade standard !

Reality is he is a number 2 half. Trouble is with our roster he is our number 1.

I drew a line 6 weeks ago, he just isnt getting it done like a good half should.

Chad Townsend and the Blake Greens of the world deliver much more.

Until we sign or produce a quality number 7 we will look like 9th and finish 9th. Or worse
