@The_Patriot yes i could be giving 100% myself when im 54 and pats on the back for that, but i wouldnt expect to be selected starting every week though my efforts are there when i cant catch many in a running race in the nrl at all. i like Robbie, just in my personal opinion last year was a perfect time for retirement there again overplaying his hand. this year was perfect time for Liddle as a debut year and i dare say we would have 4 points more on ladder,(just my opinion) not single handedly but just the speed picked up from first play from the ruck infectious throughtout the team like cookie does, i think Liddle has better vision though cook has more speed

Liddle cost us the game. he is NOT ready

Rubbish!!!!

Would expect better from you - A little Liddle dislike showing here.

Whats rubbish?

We worked our way back into the game, had them on the back foot. Scrum 20 out and he goes to lock and throws a massive forward pass.

It was a clutch moment of the game. We needed players to stay calm and get us home.

He didnt handle it.

I like the kid but im over sugar coating players who cant handle pressure.

Its over to Liddle now to start delivering in those clutch moments and turn that kind of play around.

It's time for Farah and Liddle to swap roles for a number of reasons.

Plenty dislike Farah and we all get it. He can be devisive for whatever reason. Some say he is selfish, some say not. But whatever motivates him, I dont care. As long as he puts in each week. He can bite the heads of ducks for all I care before a game, as long as he is up for the match. I want whats best for the team.

As for Liddle, I am a huge fan so I will declare that. Plenty have come out this week and said he threw a pass (it wouldnt qualify as a pass) from the scrum that was crap, and threw another dodgy pass later on. Well, to those claims I say this. 100% correct, but he is a young guy, coming back from plenty of injuries, now playing 15minutes a game each when he should be playing 60 at least. Rusty to say the least. The kid needs minutes. And whilst Farah did some good things and some great kicks, I could point out a dozen things during that game that he did poor, and he is a seasoned veteran and at one stage in his career was one of the best players int he NRL full stop. Judging Liddle on that is ridiculous.

I want to see him after a half dozen full games and see how he is travelling.

However, rightly or wrongly Farah will get his 300th game as the starter and that isnt necessarily bets for the team, despite the fact he may deserve it personally.

At this stage even if he wants to, Farah should not be running around as our starter for 2020, and we have done NOTHING to dress his replacement. Liddle will be that hooker and it's about time he was given a chance to ply his trade with minutes on the field.

This is not a Farah attack, because as I said, I dont care what motivates him. I want what is best for ths team which needs some building and in my opinion, Farah is not part of it anymore. All good things must come to an end.

Liddle played as a defensive and running forward, Kudos where deserved, he didn't shirk his role, this young bloke has just a had a few bad injuries in the past, but he is class and will only get better. I hope that young Smith get his chance at fullback, Corey to the wing and bring in young Talau.

Farah played alright and wasnt the reason we lost.
There were a couple of critical errors made by players that if you want to have a crack at individuals Lawrence, Momo, Eisenhuth, Mybe should all be singled out beside him for making costly errors.
The team went to mud when Mikaele/ Eisenhuth went off and Liddle came on. Lots of confusion around positional play but thats what happens sometimes in games when players are forced to play out of position.
The reaction to this loss has been over the top - I think- because we played ourselves into a position in the second half to jag it against a good side and we blew it.
Maguire would feel that more than anyone because he hates losing and that was our season.

There will be those that always hate Farah stemming back to the Mick Potter and JT days.
He is not the reason this team has sucked for the last 6 years. If we had players 1-17 that were top 10 in their position like Farah was we would be a perennial finals team. It’s the mismanagement of the cap, recruitment and retention that is the issue.

Players like Groat, Patterson, Rankin, Buchanan, Blair, Ava, Santi, Lovett etc should never have been starting games. For various reasons We have lost Teddy, Lodge, JAC, Moses, Woods, Koribete, Fifita, Heighnington, Simona, Teo, Papynhuzen, Gavet.

It’s strictly recruitment and retention we have been atrocious.

I gotta tell yuh's all : if Robbie Farah becomes a paid ambassador for Wests Tigers after he finishes his playing career [sooner rather than later I hope] as it was apparently to be, and with this being the reason for the Pascoe kerfuffle, I will think Very Seriously about cancelling my membership of Our Wests Tigers.
If I do decide to do this I will, of course, let the Board know why I intend to cancel.
Just as a side mention...his little mate Michelle Moses IMHO was probably the WORST player on the field today.
I would really love to see someone really smash him :skull_and_crossbones: , legitimately or not.
I'm certainly not suggesting someone break both of his legs, but gees it's a thought though :fist: . due to the disharmony I feel he caused Our Club.

Off you go then.
You can still support the Maggies in reserve grade.

Robbies form since the penrith flogging in Magic Round has been horrendous, anyway who thinks otherwise is delusional

I'd be more miffed if he DIDN'T take the role on after Pascoe had to fall on his sword over it.

@Jay yeah no big deal. Just same old stuff year in year out.
No finals again no big deal. Robbie legend.

Legend tag should be reserved for winners, not under achievers.

Yeah, life member, club captain, premiership winner, SOO rep (and captain) and Australian rep is certainly underachieving.

@cktiger Club level obviously. Massively under achieved.
I think he just enjoyed being the big fish in a small pond here at the club.
Robbie isn't as passionate about winning as most is lead to believe.

Well then, lets play him for 80 minutes without interference from other dummy halves.

Then make a judgement.

Big fish? He was the captain most of his time here.
I can't believe you would say he isn't passionate about winning ... a lot of his detractors say he is unbearable to be around after a loss.
At club level you need players around you for the team to succeed, unfortunately we only had a few years you could really say we had that.
The club underachieved - not him ... he got all the rep gigs for his 'team' performances.

You did see the pass farah threw 2 metres out from their line, defence completely shot game still in the balance? You know, the pass that almost made it back to halfway before it got anywhere near one of our players...

Oh, the one he threw over 40 metres backwards?
Missed it.
