Farah

I think we should explore it , but I also believe that we can't carry a specialist dummy half on the bench for obvious reasons (injury , send offs etc) Whoever we choose as the utility player needs to be able to fill in capably as the dummy half

I think if Farah is given at ten minute spell either side of half time that would be enough for him to still keep up an 100% effort without blowing him out

I don't think Farah would be pleased with this, I saw the look on his face last Saturday night when he was replaced, it was not pretty. Having said that, if Sheens did go down that track, a player like Fulton could be the man for the job.

Wasnt it the Ben Galea/Robbie Farah stubborn go like this Sheens used years ago?
None of you remember that?
It was NOT good.

that was to start the season after he had been given a few games from the bench his debut year.
and yeah,it wasn't good.
not a fan of conditioning a player to play less.

if it is to manage a injury ,that is a different matter.

You guys need to understand he is in my fantasy league team and needs to play 80 min….... Get your priorities right

Something must be done to reduce his Tackle Count!

Probably the easiest way of solving that is sending a letter to all other 15 clubs politely asking can they ask there big forwards not to run at Robbie anymore

Surely they will listen ,won't they ?? 😕

Yeah!! Lets rest Robbie for twenty, and while we are at it, lets give Benji 20 off as well, he will be fresher, and Sheensie too, he can coach for the first twenty and then the last!!

The forum members could then coach for the twenty when Teflon is subbed. Great idea. We are all experts after all

Great idea Alf. How long before the first forum member shifts a winger or centre to the back-row and cops a hammering for it. That's Gold!!!

As a background i'm a massive Farah fan. He has carried the team since 2006.

BUT , I do not understand why he went on the Kangaroo tour after carrying a chronic groin injury for two years.

imo he should have had the surgery after the 2011 season finished.

Farah must play 80 mins every week if fit. I'm tipping a big year for him with all the focus on the likes of Benji, Blair, Moltzen, Lawrence etc

Most NRL sides interchange their no 9 and get results. I know Farah is not your run of the mill no9 and directs a lot of the tigers plays. I just think the writing has been on the wall for a while that we need a little more impact at times and with Farah playing 80 minutes and doing 40 odd tackles the petrol tank at times is running very low. The question is,do we have a suitable player to do the job if Farah is off the field?? Humble I think could do a fair job. Also it would give another player some experience in the role

3 of the top 4 sides have 80 minute hookers, with only the broncoes interchanging their hooker.

Farah played last year injured which took away his zip, not the the fact he was playing 80 minutes. The previous 2 seasons he was in the top few in the Dally M.

He is a clear 80 minute player.

Never expected many people to agree and Iam not sure if it would be a good idea, just through it out their for debate. Iam not doubting Robbie can play 80 minutes, I was just wondering if he would go better with a break or would the team go better. When robbie struggled for long periods last year the team struggled and its going to take him a while to get over his surgery and back to his best, so do we try and make it a little easier for him and maybe better for the team. Of course do we have a player who can play the dummy half role while he is off the field–not sure on that one

Heard something on radio this morning, Sheens reckons there will be games Farah wont be available AT ALL due to his mums illness

thats a wonderful thing to hear Ink… I'm glad Robbie is taking his family matters so serious and putting them before his career.

Good on ya Robbie!
