Working within the Hospitality Industry, you come across many 'Rock Stars' who have spent 6 months at University and think they know more than everyone… As a result, I use this many times per month:
"Please dont think... Thats for the intellegent people"
And I hate how most people use the term 'sorry' for just about everything. So depending on the circumstance, I use the following:
"Sorry I'm late" - reply - "why are you sorry... did you mean to be late?"
When its clear you are in a hurry and someone gets in the way they say 'sorry'. My reaction is usualy "dont be sorry, just move"
As I'm such a softie as a boss, my wife calls it 'Tough Love' from the Watto!!!
