Fifita gamble pays off for Flanagan

I agree with Simon, Douglas and Snowden are superior to Gibbs & Fifita

Ur obviously a good judge of the game…...

Tbh......ask any fan of footy other than us biased tiger fans and im sure 90% would say the former sharks front row is far superior to the current boys.

If anything I believe Gibbs impact will be blunted somewhat at the Sharks.

The things he is really good at Gallen does better and has done so for quite some tme.

Unless he is bluking up to be more of a metre eater I don't see him being an obvious standout.

However his value is immense because by taking the workload away from Gallen it will make him far more potent

The Douglas/Snowden combo is much stronger then Gibbs/Fifita. Douglas is superhuman for a front-rower having played almost 150 conesecutive games. The Sharks problems aren't the forward pack, they've always had a decent pack. They're problems have centred around the halves and outside backs. They've struggled to find anyone to fill Kimmorly's shoes, and i can't remember the last time they had an outside back who could out-run his grandmother. I'm thinking i'd have to go all the way back to someone like Brett Howland

Thats what I think will make Gibbs so valuable, letting Gallen save his energy and pick his moments more instead of trying to shoulder everything.

Blake Ferguson…? Except the only problem was he kept running until he reached the ACT.

Yeah, left beacuse he wanted to play for a finals team and it took him almost half a season to win a game. Wise move

I wonder if he realises the irony in that statement yet?
