Fifita not happy

You're right TM and AF does a very good job in pointing the finger at everyone else apart from himself. For his sake I hope the move to Cronulla gives him the incentive to lift his form but we'll see.

He was on the field yesterday while the first grade was warming up. He took no part and was in civies.

I remember against Newcastle all he wanted to do was run sideways, we were on our line & he wouldnt put in the hard yards where Gibbs was trying his guts out & so was Galloway. I would rather use Payten or flanno @ least they have a go.

After he signed with the shark's his form not only fell away but he started to talk trash in the press about owning various pack etc.. but still failed to deliver.

So it would seem on the surface anyway that as soon as Sheens dropped him the team seemed to be more focused - could be the case of getting rid of the rotting apple ?

If he is ssooking and has a bad attitude, whats he doing anywhere near the playing group, whats he doing holding the bump pads in the warm up?
If he's such a neg influence he shouldnt be anywhere near the NRL squad….or is Sheens just being mean & tormenting him?

His comments about Blair were petty, going on about being dumped to make way for him etc. That combined with a drastic drop in form over a month or so, is more then enough reason for Sheens to send him packing.

Having attackers bump off him is what he does best!

I think sheens knows exactly when to let players go, look back at others that seem questionable at the time, none have gone on to make me wish they were still here! (exept hodgson) I think he knows when hes got the best out of his players and when there is more left (ie: lui i hope), Either way let fifita leave now and join the rest of our leftovers at the sharks.

There is no point putting him in first grade, its better to just leave Groat, and get some experience of finals footy under his belt

Maybe he should lose the attitude and take some tips from Big Keith. He plays and acts exactly how a Tigers Forward should.

If his attitude is poor then there is no way he should be bought back into the side. If he works hard and decides to fire up he could be a surprise weapon in the finals. However I don't see it happening. Sharks might have made a blunder here.

classic case of reaping what you sow IMO. sad to say, but from here (WA) it looked as though he started to get a bit ahead of himself with his proclamations etc. fine line between confidence and arrogance.

i think he will need to simply straighten up in more ways than one! only benji is allowed to run sideways and i don't know how long he can go trying to push off everyone all the time instead of simply hitting the line hard.

good luck to him at the sharks.

Fifita should be given a shot in tbe last 2 rounds to be in the team. Seriously people, Groat should be tying up Fifita's shoelaces before the game. One of the last 2 premiership rounds should be a trial for Fifita to see how hungry he is to play in the Semi's.

No one plays well for BRET because half the players dont want to be playing there. Heck, Even the Wests Magpies who get zero NRL players have won more games than them. BRET are a poorly coached, poorly conceived, poorly structured team who have players running out for them who do not want to be there.

Wow. And I thought this was going to be about Andrew Fifita! The NRL is not the area to be giving guys a chance to show their committment - it's a reward for skillful players who have demonstrated their willingness to do the hard work required so that they don't let their team mates down on the field. Fifita has a major attitude problem and a massive chip on his shoulder.

I won't bother to comment on your comments on Matt Groat - others can make their own judgement on that.

Hey Bug, should Groat wash Fifita's Sharks jersey for him too!

Lets reward the players who want to play for us. They have just as much potential and are more deserving of a chance.
