Fifita not happy

When a guy gets dropped and his attitude gets worse he has not earnt the right to compete in a team that has tested their mettle in tough clashes and prevailed.

If he gets a run because of Gibbs injury than I hope he aims up.

Realistically though he checked out as soon as he signed with the Sharks and prior to that his form was dross

After the Ben Teo saga years ago maybe Fifita should be dropped from all grades and never have the privilvage of playing for Wests Tigers again. He runs sideways anyway and his defence is suspect.

Over rated and happy to see him go. He can join Dean Collis playing for Cronulla's feeder club.

Groat deserves his place in the NRL team. Great talent who can only get better.

Just saying Fifita should be given a shot in the last two games to see what he can do.

Why? What has he done to deserve a "shot in the last two games"? From what I can see, he has:-
1\. Whinged about everything except the pot of gold Cronulla has offered him.
2\. Got the sulks big time like only an 8 year old could.
3\. Complained because nobody told him, what he had to do to get back to first grade. He DID NOT KNOW?
The sooner he is gone the better. On the basis, leopards never change their spots, Cronulla will have their problems with this guy next year, rather than the Tigers. Thank goodness.

Fifita should be given a shot in tbe last 2 rounds to be in the team. Seriously people, Groat should be tying up Fifita's shoelaces before the game. One of the last 2 premiership rounds should be a trial for Fifita to see how hungry he is to play in the Semi's.

No one plays well for BRET because half the players dont want to be playing there. Heck, Even the Wests Magpies who get zero NRL players have won more games than them. BRET are a poorly coached, poorly conceived, poorly structured team who have players running out for them who do not want to be there.

Hope you are speaking about David and not Andrew Bug
At least from all reports David's having a dig

Fifitas attitude has always stunk & i would rather give Begovich a run in firsts, At least he would run straight & tackle bug not like Fifita.

Why are people picking on the Grobot, its only his first few games in the top league, and i see good things for this kid, him and woods look the goods for sure!

Just changing the subject, David is playing like Arthur Beetson and I hope he is within our structure somewhere next year.

What about Achurch Bug, should he come into consideration if Gibbs is out?

In This week's edition of RLW under the hot gossip coloum, it says that "Eniigmatic front-rower Andrew Fifita is on thin ice at teh Tigers. The talented prop was stood down from all football last weekend after skipping training and has been given a sten warning to get his act together if he hopes to play for the Tigers again before moving to Cronulla in 2012."

Looks like we made the right choice in getting rid of Fifita.

But we already know what he can do - we saw during the first 15 or so games of the season (which, you may recall, we lost a lot of). In the last couple of weeks before he got dropped he had very obviously been told to run forwards - and he was ineffective.

He may be a wasted talent at the Tigers and he may get his career back on track at the Sharks (though it's hard to think of anyone else who has), but he's done for us now. Time to move one.

You gotta love this what has Fifita done to deserve a crack in first grade NOTHING if you have watched him play in NSW Cup you would not proclaim he deserves a shot in first garde.

What he is capable of doing and what he actually does are two different things, unfortunately for him and fortunately for Groat the guy would much prefer to talk the talk than walk it.
Love your passion Bug but at time you come up with wild statements

Uncalled for people. He has been a cult figure for us.I think the Cronulla thing has affected him.He is still only a kid.It might come back to bite us one day so wish him
The best.

Fair enough - I don't wish him ill after the move and I hope it gives him the kick up the arse he appears to need. My point is that it's pointless to call for him to be recalled to first grade for the Tigers - his attitude and form apparently don't justify it, and more importantly it's clearly not in the thinking of the coaching staff. Just pretend he's injured and move on - there's no point stressing about what might have been.
