does anyone know if this kid is a starter in the team for next season?

Both are signed. As Smeg said, which one are you interested in?

im always getting confused with their names..makes me feel less of a supporter :stuck_out_tongue:
but im interested in the one that always has the starting spot.

Andrew is the one who starts I think, lots of talent there too.

Andrew is the better one I think. David and Andrew will most likely both end up in first grade but I think Andrew will be a rep star.

They'll be like the Hindmarsh brothers. Both were good but one's more of a star.

They've got a huge future in them. They just need to spend the whole summer with Folkes to get conditioned for first grade.

I think you are right,Folksey will help them develop better than anyone at the club.

I think Andrew has a big future. I saw him play on many occasions and I was mighty impressed. He scored about 14 tries which is unheard of for a prop. A definite First grader.

I don't think we should get to carried away with either of them just yet. They are both very young and it is rare to see a front rower excell straight out of the 20s comp. Look at all of the best front rowers in the comp, with the exception of hannant, most are all late 20s or 30s. (Petero, Price, Fui, Bailey, Lima, Cayless)

I agree in terms of keeping them and that they will both play 1st grade, but maybe not just yet. Alot of young bulls have been bashed too early in there careers and have never recovered. It has taken Sauce a good 4 years to recover from what hoppa did to him. Blooded to early and they become a target by the old hardnuts. Sheens will hold him back.

Understand what's been said, tiger_tomato, but the game is changing.

EG Sam Burgess - sure, I know unproven here yet, but already a force in ESL, as a young prop.

Locally, Sauce is not the only young tiro to face it early.
Luke Douglas is 23, already played close to 100 games first grade, having first played top grade when he was 20.
The Mannah boys are firing.
And there's more through the NRL, across the board.
In fact, any player given top grade time, managed and measured correctly by astute coaches, is up to it, when opportunity calls - if good enough.

Our game and yesterday's thinking is fast changing.

Fitness is the key for these boys. It's a big step up to go from the front row in under 20's to FG. Simon Dwyer is an 80 minute player in the 20's yet we only saw him get 20 minutes in FG to ease him in. An off-season under Folkesy will help all of the Tigers, particularly the forwards I think. I'd still start both brothers in State Cup, and once their match fitness is up, and provided they are trampling the opposition, then look at starting them off the bench if it's warranted.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but John Mannah has lymphoma.

I was just saying not to expect to much from them to start off with. And, i admit, the risk factor i was talking about previously may not be as relevant in todays game. There are not to many players anymore who go out there to break someones jaw, the penalty is too severe. He'll get his shot, and i hope he does well!
