Watched Alien in full today for the first time in about 40 years, having not being allowed to see it earlier in cinema as a young teen. A true classic, remastered and with the soundtrack upmixed from 5.1 through DTS Neural:X to suit my 7.2.4 set-up, which provided better immersion by engaging the overheads and particularly so for the score, it made for a great modern theatre like experience.

Anyone on here catch and enjoy it in cinema back then or since?

Have been a big fan of Weaver since its release. She was the highlight of the movie

One hell of an actress

She always steals movies no matter which part she played. In Avatar she was excellent even in a small role.Somehow she is also going to be in Avatar 2.i just hope i am still around to see it

Bad news all, especially @tony-soprano

I am a HUGE fan of The Sopranos.
Literally 1 of, if not the #1 favourite show of all time for me.

I just watched the movie, prequel.

What a piece of garbage.
Hard to find one redeeming quality about it.
0/10
Disgusting.

Creed 1 and 2
Amazing. Second one is my fav.

Mighty ducks trilogy.
90s classics.
???

Did you watch the new mighty ducks series?

Nah, I didn't but I read about it.
It's taking the Karate kid approach eh?

The good guys are now the bad guys.
I may watch it one day

Did u watch it ?
Is it bad ? ?

I liked it for what it was, wasn't amazing but wasted 5 or 6 hours. Pretty much similar themes to the original

No Emilio or Hans though

Emilio is in it.

The forgotten Sheens ...should of brought Tim in

Seems to be the most stable Sheens

Emilio or Tim

Watched a weird movie with Estevez in it back in about the mid eighties called Repo Man and the main thing I remember is a line from the soundtrack being "Pablo Picasso was never called an arse hole" or something of the like.

And the one he did with Charlie ....Men at Work ...rubbish truck drivers / crime fighters

I actually liked that one.

I read the reviews on IMDB last night.
Wasn't looking good hey.

Still, gave it a chance and just wow....
Literally can't even make a positive comment about it.

Gandolfini Jnr was terrible.
The whole thing was so poor, I had to apologise to the Mrs multiple times for making her sit through it.

No gabbagool today my friends, only boredom and memories of how great the show was and how I'll never re watch this pile of garbage.

2 movies to look forward to in the next few months 1.Dune based on the sci fi books i read many years ago written by Herbert 2.The new Matrix movie.

Watched Gone Girl for the first time, crazy. David Fincher could find a way to make reading the weather disturbing.

Catching up with some of what could be considered ground breaking and/or classic movies lately with The Matrix and the following pair in the original trilogy amongst them. Will be very pleased if the new instalment can match the worst of them.

A couple of decades since I watched it in cinema and a while as well since viewing on Blu-ray, though I think the recent home experience of the 4k UHD disc presentation with Dolby Vision and Atmos surround bettered that of the theatre. Much improved over the previous physical digital green washed look as well.

Saw a glimpse of it a few Sunday's ago. That thing is hideous.

I just re watched the dark knight trilogy.
First time since I saw them in cinema.
Really are very well put together flicks.

This one looks great too.
Rober Patterson is under rated.

Hey Pretty. I’m assuming your handle is after the band. A JR AND Repo Man fan? Glad to meet you, brother.
