Just watched some movie on Foxtel called "Buddy Games"

/nope.

😂
Can't think of a decent comedy movie that came out post 2007.

This movie was no good.

Yeah I can't think of any decent comedy movies recently either. Everyone now terrified of somebody being offended by something, so we just get the same unfunny trash over and over again.

Creed 1 and 2
Amazing. Second one is my fav.

Mighty ducks trilogy.
90s classics.
???

Did you watch the new mighty ducks series?

Nah, I didn't but I read about it.
It's taking the Karate kid approach eh?

The good guys are now the bad guys.
I may watch it one day

Did u watch it ?
Is it bad ? ?

I liked it for what it was, wasn't amazing but wasted 5 or 6 hours. Pretty much similar themes to the original

No Emilio or Hans though

Emilio is in it.

The forgotten Sheens ...should of brought Tim in

Seems to be the most stable Sheens

Emilio or Tim

Watched a weird movie with Estevez in it back in about the mid eighties called Repo Man and the main thing I remember is a line from the soundtrack being "Pablo Picasso was never called an arse hole" or something of the like.

That line is a from a song by Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers off their debut album in 1976. A great album it is too.

Hey Pretty. I’m assuming your handle is after the band. A JR AND Repo Man fan? Glad to meet you, brother.

Yea i'm a huge Died Pretty fan - love Ron Penos antics on stage. I'm pretty much in to most Aussie independent stuff and have recently got in to a lot of the newer Aussie punk bands that have sprung up especially in Melbourne. I do like JR and The modern Lovers - the first album is a classic. Not so much a fan of Repo Man.

Watched Alien in full today for the first time in about 40 years, having not being allowed to see it earlier in cinema as a young teen. A true classic, remastered and with the soundtrack upmixed from 5.1 through DTS Neural:X to suit my 7.2.4 set-up, which provided better immersion by engaging the overheads and particularly so for the score, it made for a great modern theatre like experience.

Anyone on here catch and enjoy it in cinema back then or since?

Saw a glimpse of it a few Sunday's ago. That thing is hideous.

Haven't seen the actual movie for a long time?

Jesus, you could you chip enough off his jaw so that he'd still have a chin and have enough left over to give to former saints coach Steve Price.

?? Price had the real baby-head from side on with the regressed chin.
If Cleary was a bank robber it'd be a waste of time trying to get a balaclava over that monstrosity. He'd need a pair of Honey BooBoo's Mums pantyhose.

it was probably Daniel Craig's best one

@jadtiger & @Jedi_Tiger

I watched it and i have to disagree massively.

I felt like Bond had a whole different personality to the other movies.
Bad guy - Rami Malek was massively underutilised. He is such a great actor and he gets about 8 minutes screen time. I didn't even think he was bad, I felt sorry for him.

Story line was rushed and was all over the place.
Location shots and cinematography were great but the movie was just a showcase the plans for the next movie.

That female bond did not display any likeability and I even feel like she wouldn't be able to carry the show as a stand alone lead, on her own.

Bond fans? Watch the movie.
Be ready for disappointment.

I did not suggest that there had to be another Bond movie,I thought it was a very fitting end to his career. You do realise that the James Bond movies have been around for almost 60 years?
All things must pass

I thought it was a good way to round out the Daniel Craig arc

It isn't passing though...

There was talks the female Bond will continue and now there's talks of finding the next Bond for the reboot. Few people have put their hands up from Tom Holland, Idris Elba and even The Rock expressing interest ?‍♂️

It is the end of Daniel Craig however.

Watched Chopper for the first time the other day. Expected more tbh it was way too short.

Saw they did a re release at some cinemas...
The movie, imo, is quite good.

The man himself though, I cannot stand.

I hope that they never give the Bond role to "the Rock", most pathetic hammy actor in the world, just relies on his physique.

He's so cringe.
I had to stop following his IG cos he's a big attention seeker.

He won't get it.
I think Tom Hardy should get a crack.
