Films Not Movies

Midsommar......

very cool 70s wicker man theme about it....

creepy and a bit unsettling....

Florence Pugh is great in it....

well worth it even if it's just once...

Just watched Danger Close.....highly recommend it.....

Before that saw 1917....it was a very good movie but not sure if it's worth the hype

Yeah, Danger Close was great, as they nailed probably the most realistic Vietnam war action that I have seen and bypassed the typical Hollywood theatrics. I first saw it in the air and hired it as soon as I could on blu-ray to catch it at home with enveloping sound.

Saw some scenes from 1917 that showed some poor CG, which put me off going to see it, but I will probably rent it at some point.

And on a slow night.....

Just saw The Lightouse with Pattinson and Defoe.....

Cracking movie!!!! If you like your artsy guys losing sanity movies....stick your eyeholes on it!!!! Both actors were brilliant!!!

Been to the movies a bit while my wife was away:

Joker - superb
Just Mercy - riveting
Bombshell - great but confronting
Knives Out - very good story
Sky walker - well I’ve loved them all

21 Bridges isn't too bad. A better flick I'm halfway through is Crown Vic with Thomas Jane, it's one of better films I've seen in the past 12 months.

Remember hiring it on video ?

I bought it on DVD when i was like 14 and frothed it for years.

Did a high school project about it.

I have a theory about it havin religious undertones and Donnie is Jesus, came back and died for everyones sins. And the asian girls book is the bible. Lolzz

What a project!
Interesting I’ve never thought of that.makes a bit of sense but
One of the those movies that still has people talking and trying to decode it
Only movie worthy of using the song ‘mad world’
