Finally a signing

Seems odd that the club wouldn't announce it immediately and prior to the game tomorrow arvo to boost numbers.

With that first name "Elijah" this guy could have played front row for Jerusalem back in the old days. I just hope it's supposed meaning of wonder-worker holds up.

Yeah but will JT pick him or do the same as he did for Edwards , the 2 boys for Ipswich, the union player etc

Taylor left Penrith because he couldn't make their NRL side. So you would think he has been assured of a top 17 spot here or he wouldn't of agreed to the move. But it is the tiger's so we will just have to wait and see

I'm thinking

13\. Taylor
12\. Lawrence
11\. Sironen
10\. Woods
9\. Farah
8\. Sue

13\. Grant
14\. Ava
15\. Edwards
17\. Aloia

Let me be clear this is because of just how good Grant has been and not any kind of dropping. I would bring him on at the 20 minute mark and then leave him on which means he is on when Woods if off to try and give us some strength in the middle period

Should be available for the Canberra game

At Lowes!

Is Canberra Rd 8?
A weeks training and straight into firsts?
Rapid

Just keep it simple - tackle the guys in green and then tackle them some more. It's another reason to play him in the middle and not out wide.

FT any info or thoughts on Chris ?

I'm not sure what's going on with Chris? I think there was an article I read that there trying to restructure his Contract and give him a few years on top.
He deserves it, his been a revelation since coming into the 2nd Row.

I reckon Sue will have the most punch off the bench of the whole lot
He doesn't shy away from anything

parahi was injured

apparently one of the ipswich boys wasn't coming along very well - forget which one

the other one was doing solidly, but coaches always prefer a consistent team over making unforced changes. potter did the exact same. injuries usually allow you to make those changes in due course anyway and if it's not essential then why bother

putting in an ipswich boy for lovett wouldnt turn those 10-16pt losses into wins

I have read that the NRL have to approve a revision of an existing contract, so Lawrence and the club would be waiting on that.
Great news re Elijah Taylor if true

I dunno. MCK and Edwards and Co. must be spewing. Not the way to build energy, drive and desire within the club. Never being given a chance must really stink.

I hope you're correct Newtown. Fans have been waiting an eternity for Sirro to have a big game

think sirro is one we should let go, he has been gono do this and do that and has done nothing. end of season clean out sirro, dene, buchanon, lovett, edwards, chee kam, and buy 2-3 up and coming backrowers. we need size and power.

I think Halatau should retire & Buchanan should not be retained. Harsh on Edwards as has been working his way back from injury and we will see what he is capable of over the next couple of weeks. Sirro could be carried if we had more powerful fowards, but probably on too much money. If Chee Kam gets a go will give a chance to assess him. I personally would keep Lovett on the assumption he is on a relatively small contract and think he fits the bill as NSW cup/back up player well.

We also need to free up some or all of the 900k being paid to an aging hooker. Maybe one of the super league clubs will take him
