Finals series 2017 *Spoilers

I loved the Cows guts..

Highlight of the night for me was when Fergo scored my Rorter supporting Son turned to me and said 'Wanna go to the GF'..?

When Morgan kicked the FG..I turned to him and said 'Wanna go to the GF'…his response can not be published here...

Cows all the way next week..

They certainly turn up for each other and most importantly don't panic when they fall behind, they've been brilliant at grinding teams down but I fear Melbourne will pummel them next week. A lot of busted players in that Cowboys side and I can see the Storm running all over them.

Must be questions around some of Robinson's coaching decisions. Deploying Matterson & Aubusson in the centres shows that either they have no depth in the outside backs, or they have no intention of playing any attacking football. Both have been burned for pace in recent weeks, and yet he persisted with these poor selections.

They were still a big chance last night, just needed a fullback who runs around in circles, hogs the ball and looks for personal glory over the teams and has very limited defensive skills. Next year!!!

Tedesco's million plus a season should have been directed at their pack. They were smashed last by the Cows.

Love to see them tumble down to the cellar of the comp next year, probably will not happen and the brown paper bags will come out of the cupboard when the next marquee player hits the market

I'd love to see the rorters go backwards in a massive way. Something like not making the 8 next year and getting busted for rorting the cap.

How adorable was JWH calling out Taumalolo.

Your ultimate paragraph just had everyone around the breakfast buffet wondering what the hell I was laughing about. Still a big upgrade on Gordon though and Tupou on the bench was a Sheenius move.

Why did we get rid of TiMM again?

Because the suck holes that were at the club at the time believed Moses was the man ..how wrong they were!

Yep and now they're both gone and we've ended up with an ageing, injury plagued Reynolds! :frowning:

Ageing? He's 28? And one year with a couple injuries, and all of a sudden you are plagued by injury?

I'm disappointed we lost TMM. We even had a chance to get him back from the panthers, but by that point we had put those eggs in the reynolds basket. Whilst I'm reasonably happy with the reynolds signing, I still maintain that his signing was incredibly rushed…. it was at a time when we were desperate for some positive press, so we went out and signed reynolds on a big 4 year deal. I reckon if we had've been a bit more patient we could've got a better value-for-money signing (TMM or otherwise).

ISP cup, the PNG hunters will be making an ANZ appearance. I wonder whether any of them have NRL potential?

Watching Bwaith after the Chooks lost last night was pure joy…...he would of pulled himself to sleep bawling last night.
Hope Ted was there to commiserate with his new team in the sheds.
Go Cowboys, win or lose next week it has been an incredibly gutsy, inspirational run through the finals- finish it off in grand style with a victory over the maggots next Sunday. That will be well worth celebrating in more ways than one.
Paul Green has proved himself to be a brilliant coach, there is really nothing to dislike about this Cowboys team, they play the game in an honest, courageous, humble and exciting fashion. Fantastic to watch.

ive said this every week after the cowboys game, i just can't get over their style of play.

does everyone notice that even with 3 minutes left, they don't take a minute to play the ball, they're on their feet straight away and ready for the next play.

to me, this is the greatest story of the nrl in the last 5 years that i can remember. very proud

It will be interesting to see what the TV ratings for the Grand Final will be in NSW. Me and some mates did a ring around to see who was keen for a bbq to watch the game and most people have decided to go away for the weekend and said they might watch the game but weren't worried if they missed it. I'll have the game on but the only game i really want to see is the Hunters v Penrith.

Yeah I noticed this too. Great attitude. If we could bottle it…
