Was watching this other day

Sad lack of resources at the tigers has maybe stopped him living to his potential

Really makes you sad to see how injuries have cruelled his career

Very correct Tiga4eva

Sorry for the misinfo

No worries mate. I was there that night, lost Lote and him in the space of 10mins. Walking out of the ground it felt like we lost

It is quite sad watching that video and seeing what type of attacking power he was, speed and power to burn!!

Was interesting to see that majority of his breaks were thorough the ball player, mainly Benji, drifting outside and straightening the attack for Lawrence to then hit a hole and use his speed and strength to either muscle his way over the line or get into some open field.

My favourite part of the whole video was when he burnt Slater and left him grasping at air!!

I really miss that Lawrence and I know everyone would agree that we need him back to make a charge to the top 8 this year, I hope this full off season gives him some of that speed back and he can develop a combination with his inside ball players to generate some space for him to run into.

Weren't we leading 36-0 or something similar at the time ??

He was signed for five years because he was the best centre prospect from any team in a very long time. I would have signed him for ten years. His injuries were horrific and were it not for his dedication and toughness a lesser man would have folded. The only player I can think of on a par to him with brilliance and toughness and serious injury was the mighty Les Johns. It's all there on tape for anyone to see, I pray that your injury time is in the past and that you are capable of blitzing the opposition once again. GO LAWRIE…. 😛ray:

Yeah and we conceded 3 late tries after Lawrence's injury. I think the players knew the extent of how bad he was hurt. I know we all hope his speed returns but even his hands were woeful this year. It's a long climb back for Rowdy

.Quintus is right

Very few at the time thought it was a bad idea from recollection

Maybe I'm getting old and senile though

Players do get injured unfortunately and WT's players seem to get more than their share of injuries

Yes but let's be honest here. On the day it was announced NOONE had a negative thing to say - we were all estates a future origin and Aussie great was staying with us king term.
Anyway who says different now is a liar.

 Big night?

5 year contracts are just as big a risk for the players as well

Your market value could soar on the back of playing SOO and premiership sides
