Yesterday Golf Australia closed all golf courses and my sporting pleasure now sees me setting up a pitching area in my yard, luck has it there is plenty of room, can even set up a practice swing area using practise balls that I have at home..Im even going to drill a hole through an old ball and attach a long piece of elastisised twine so I can hit it at impact and it doesn't go further than the string...creativity my friends...
Im also using this time to get things done around the place ready for winter, cutting wood, cleaning gutters and painting should keep me busy and give me plenty of excersise..hopefully everyone stays healthy and safe,if you do do weights and excercises don't over do it,be sensible and all will be fine..

How long have you been playing golf TT? Love my golf, it's more of a carry an Esky around for 18 holes while hitting golf balls in-between these days!?
Been playing for about 38 years, finally snared a hole-in-one last November and haven't had a chance to get out for a hit since.
What handicap are you on, what courses do you play?
Golf is awesome, have seen so many funny/interesting things on golf courses over the years.
Hope you are able to get your fix of golf in the backyard mate. All the best?

I have been playing for a few years now and I have a GA handicap of 26.3 atm...I was down to 18 but had an accident and popped my rotator cuff and didn't play for about 4 years..I was a member of Moss Vale golf club but haven't renewed yet..I had my sights set on playing in the seniors masters for amateurs on the Gold Coast this year but it might be hard this year with all that's gone on.to make the cut the max hcap is 26 and I reckon I could have made it,oh well always next year..I played at the Pines on sanctuary cove about 15 years ago and it was great..

Cheers buddy, was lucky enough to be able to see it disappear. Shame it wasn't for a car or $$$$!
Moss Vale would be a nice course, not sure if I've seen it on one of those golf shoes on Foxsports. What is that other course (NSW Golf Club?) where it runs right along the ocean? That place looks majestic.
We have some nice ones here in West Oz, pity it costs a few days wages to play at some courses though?.
Good luck with getting through all your trials of recent times champ, I hope you are out indulging your passion for chasing the little white ball around soon mate?
