Fitzy to Tigers - Cashmere looking to return to NRL

I hope we dont sign the neville hes past his use by date and lets face it apart from 05 at the end he was a absolute disgrace the way he didnt ever put his body on the line and relented far to easy in tackles and not to mention how bad he was under the high ball and defence.

Its obvious by some of the post he has hes LITTLE groupies that stand by him.

I stopped following a player when i was about 15 actually.I follow the club and they shouldnt sign him.

There goes my autograph oh no im gunna lose some sleep over that. :unamused:

Exactly. No Immortal of the game has ever accomplished such a great feat. Not even Joey Johns. Tuiaki will be lucky to hold his spot on the wing next year IMHO.

i watched him play a game about 6 weeks ago. he came off the bench and backed up a break. he had a clear run to the line and got run down in 20m by a front rower
 
Well if the club is dumb enough to sign him as a player I question Mr Humphries judgement.

There is no doubt a front office slot he could fill in development though and play for a State Cup side
 
whyhave we even been linked to Fulton & Fitzy when there a waste of cap space.

i would prefer Galea then having fulton running around

i thought this nightmare was over. now its come back!

they better not bring back them fwo stickers. i couldnt go anywhere with out seeing them. i even saw them in melbourne at the cricketers arms and the casino.

What fairy land have the recruitment department been visiting if they are even **_considering_** signing this bloke????

It would be an absolute backward step to do so and would lost likely result in some up and coming young bloke being denied a spot that is rightfully his. This would be a travesty.

This plod has had his go.

He was released for a reason.

The reason being that he was [to be kind] very ordinary. You could almost pull any male [quite possibly a female too] out of the crowd at Leichhardt Oval, put a jumper on them and send them out, and they would most likely do a better job than this former Wests Tigers winger.

Cashmere would be a good pick-up. Always rated him as a player. He gets the team going forward.

Why would you question Humphrey's….Isn't Sheens the Demi-God of all things Wests Tigers at Camp Concord.....

Fitzy can play for BRET.....Or there you go you won't have to bag Ryan next year ....cause he won't be the worst winger in the NRL......
 
Fitzy was great to have in the past, but it's 2009, not time to sign a winger who was questionable 4 years ago. I wouold rather have kept McDonnell than brign Fitzhenry back.

I had to check the calender.

If signing Fitzy for a bargain is part of a grand plan to sign Lote Tuqiri, Sam Burges and Mark Flanagan, then I might be able to live with it.

I better check that calender again.
