I do agree on your thoughts about Austin though, and it's one of the reasons I see him as a utility bench player who can come on, inject himself and take on the defensive line at the right times in a game. Certainly no doubt that Blake has done some great things for us!
However, I'd have to give my award to Woods - I think over the whole season he stands out above the rest in general effort and attitude - just compare his stats.
Special mentions go to Taupau early on, and Teddy, when he played. Also Richards brought a new dimension to us, however seemed to fade in his impact (maybe injury affected him in the latter part).
I think it would be fair to say that there are a few that should be taking a long hard look in the mirror and asking themselves if they really put in their best every week.
