If Ivan can convince 2 or 3 of these guys to board the bus then WT would have a really good pack.
Morgan Boyle, Corey Jensen, Kurt Dillon, Joe Ofahengaue, Agnatius Paasi & Zane Tetevano.

No. Not Tetevano. I have enough trouble with Packer joining, I don't want that wife bashing piece of crap at the club I love. We need standards and Tetevano is someone who beat his partner 4 times.

i dont like bad boys either , but if the NRL register them and they will improve are team rather than improve another side iam over the, HOLY GOOD BOY CRAP, because for to long we have been good choir boy team, and were the hell has it got us, 15TH ON THE LADDER.

A player can have a lot of mongrel and be feared by the opposition on the field without having to resort to bashing his partner or other people off the field, 4 times For God's sake - 4 times!!! Why is this cretin still even playing?

On topic, Ofahengaue and Boyle would be good additions.

Would have taken Lodge back though IMO..

Turned his life around with rehab

On 800 a week at the Broncos or about 40k a year.

A contender for Qld Cup player of the year.

Most likely was going to be registered with the NRL next year.

Shame he has given the game away

Boyle, Passi, Ofahengaue or Brenton Lawrence would all walk into our 17

8\. Matulino
9\. Liddle
10\. Packer
11\. McQueen
12\. Taylor
13\. Eisenhuth
–---------------------
14\. Aloiai/ Chris Lawrence
15\. Ofahengaue
16\. Boyle
17\. Passi/Brenton Lawrence/Marsters

We need props and locks that chew up the metres look at the top sides.
Storm: Bromwich, McLean, NAS, Glasby, Myles
Sharks: Fifita, Gallen, Prior, Taga.
Cowboys: Scott, Taumololo, Hess, Bolton.
Manly: Tapau, Lawrence, Trboevic, Adin-Fonua, Lussick.
Roosters: JWH, Napa, Evans, Liu, Tetevano.

Tigers: Matulino, Packer, Twal, Sue.

ET is a gun but he doesn't bend the line. I think we need another prop and big lock forward that can play in the middle and outwide. I think ET will be great with a big 4 prop rotation and a big backrower outwide.
We also can't play 2 hookers with Lawrence, ET in the forwards.

That's what really connects all the good teams of recent years: they're stuffed with wife beaters. I can't believe the Tigers have taken so long to realise that what they've been missing on the park is players who go in for a bit of spousal abuse. I mean, Tetevano, Auva'a and Robert Lui might be a bit expensive nowadays what with all the premierships they've won but hopefully our recruitment department can find some wife beaters in lower grades that the Storm and Roosters haven't spotted yet. Glory awaits!

Aloiai and Eisenhuth all fit into our middle players as well. I like the Saints pack now. They have mobile fast middle forwards that get quick play the balls. I think ET, McQueen and Lawrence might get the job done on the edges but they aren't really game breakers.

I think our pack looks decent now. I think we should focus on trying to get rep level quality players that have an impact like Crichton or Taupau.

I'd be happy if Lawrence, Aloai, Sue, Twal etc were bench or depth players. We need genuine starters with quality. Saints are streets ahead with Thompson, Frizell, sims, De Bellin, Packer, Vaughan, Ah May.

And yet for all their forward talent Saints are still struggling! Same as Canberra - a great forward pack on paper doesn't always guarantee a consistent winning team.

Very true but without one you end up like the Tigers, Knights.

That is true but without a decent pack i can guarantee continual failure. It dosent have to be a dominant pack but it does have to be respectable and we have lacked that for years.

Never heard of any of them.

You should watch some games Col…

Not a lot of reserve grade games on tv.

Passi, Boyle, Tetavano and Ofahengaue all play regular first grade.

Any news on Ofahengaue? Rumors about warriors and staying with broncs. Doesnt he have family in Sydney? Would love him here.

I agree that we need at least one other quality front rower and second rower, (still don't have a match winning winger or dummy half either IMO). Get the impression we won't get Boyle however. Ofahengaue will stay at Broncs as well. Not sure where that leaves us.
I think there are still a few decent candidates off contract but in the end we are going to need the guys we have already to enforce a complete turnaround in culture and a rebirth of a winning spirit or it won't matter who we buy.

Don't worry boys. I think you will find a few clubs are over the cap once the amount gets released for next year. Then it's nom nom time. That's us just buying all these players we never thought we could. Nom nom nom

Joe ofahengaue re-signed with the broncos today, so much for wanting to come to Sydney

And another one bites the dust! No one decent left now so I guess the pack we have signed for next season will be it :frowning:
